I can't help but see us win this game, my only fear is we come out a bit rusty after being held idle for so long, and with Nashville's usual hot streak out of the gate we fall behind early and are unable to muster the strength to come back. Assuming Lidstrom comes back though I have few fears even without PP specialist Homer being out of the fray. Wings 4, Nash 2, Flip with the GWG and Tootoo does something that proves his meddle as a true POS.

Not in the least bit, Sammy bashing has always been a pet peeve of mine. Granted I generally hate it whenever anyone singles out one player or person as the entire reason a team loses.

Considering he's on pace for 46 points (A career high and great for 1.2 mil,) our wings are on top of the league at the moment, and considering he often uses his shot like a defensemen does, a la Lidstrom (who has a lower shot percentage.) I think Mikael Samuelsson might be the best (and most delusionally attached) whipping boy in the NHL. At least it's better than blaming a goalie as per normal. P.S. Take a drink whenever Sammy's unfairly dogged on.

In all honesty I'd rather hear the cheesy pun crap they currently saturate their rotation with than hear just about anything from the crap they call music on any of the pop stations lately. I would also prefer it over craptacular compensation rock/nu metal. Just stick to the organ please.

I'll concur that I feel Babcock's attitude has finally taken hold of the entire team, play defense as well as offense, play gritty but not supid, give every game 60 minutes etc. Without a doubt that is the biggest difference this year.

With the season they've been having I'm sure they probably hate hockey too.

Feels like this could easily be a trap game for us, last game of a road trip against a seemingly inferior team that's been pretty good since picking up Bryzgalov. We should still win though it won't be a blow out, then again I've underestimated the Wings performance every game so far this trip so they'll probably win 5-0.

Good ending to a great game, though in all honesty how the hell was a penalty not called at the end there? I just don't understand how a professional at the highest level of the game can not call that without reprimand. Overall great stuff tonight, they were obviously tired the second half of that game and won through the third on pure heart.

You know I lost a lot of respect for Lappy so far this year, don't get me wrong I still like the guy but I always viewed his as one of the more honorable scrappers in the league. Now not only did he start a fight with a visor on, but he just acted like he was depelvised by Lebda who baraely scrapped him with his thigh.

Well that sucked tremendously, looked kind of soft and i know Lappy wouldn;t go down that easily had he not tried to embelish somewhat.
