refs are destroying this game, not neccesarily by being biased rather than dissalowing a hockey game to be played.

*sigh* between that cheat shot and Perry's dive, it's good to see the Ducks are still a complete piece of s*** team. Now without Neidermayer and Teemu to slow them down with class they could be the biggest group of punks ever assembled.

Oh dear god, this is a joke.
-
...Nice.

....hm so it's going to be one of THOSE games. Really hoping I don't see 20 powerplays tonight.

Seeing that C on Pronger's jersey still makes me feel a little dead inside.

Considering our record against Chicago, at this point I find the weak division argument entirely dead in the water considering we've yet to lose a game outside our division. I expect this trend to correct itself as the season carries on but last year our central division record wasn't exactly spectacular either, at least compared to the year before.

I think I might be the only person East of Anaheim that actually liked the Ducks (Mighty ducks) old colors, some of the sweater designs were a bit wonky but I liked the colors. Then again I'm partial to anything that's original.

Let's hope the lifeless faithful of Canuck fans don't see this one.

So we lose in a SO with Lang getting the game tier with a shot that was mostly luck, I call it poetic!

Call me crazy but I see us being good enough to beat Chicago handedly whether they have Havlet or not, now I think we may under estimate them more so than normal. Lord knows the Wings aren't above beating teams they should dominate. Needless to say I hope him a speedy recovery, I want the Central to be as competitive as possible.

Good to see things left of from last season, only this time the Ducks didn't steal a win our win and we rightfully won, granted it should have been a lot easier then that, just how many perimeter shots are we going to try against a big pad monster?

Zetterberg just bailed out Rafalski pretty badly there.

Dive.

Just got out of class and have only been able to watch the last few minutes unfortunetly, glad to see Perry is still a dumb ass.

ESPN has a website

Pretty good fight, surely the best I've see from a wing in awhile. rather even all around, Roy had the best flurry and owned the middle of the fight while Downey did better while they were still at arms reach, would have given the tilt to Roy had Downey not scored the Ippon (Judo reference.) Pretty obvious draw in my opinion. I also feel like adding that one of the things I like about Downey is while he's a decent enforcer, he's a good sized one too. Sizable but not so large that he puts himself out of the weight class of most cheap shot artists.

Looks absolutely horrendous, looks more like the thing Harry Potter chases when he plays Quidditch than a hockey logo.

Awesome! Thanks.

That's awesome! *crosses fingers for future Detroit/Toronto match up at the big house*

Hot damn we kicked ass tonight, wish I could have caught the game. How are you all watching the preseason and is there any way to do it for free without center ice? As much as I'd love to buy it, college tuition has left me broker than Dmac, (sorry I love the guy but this is actually the least offensive analogy I could think of and I'm partially drunk.)

It looks good. They could have implemented more blue into the jersey as a whole, but I also really like the "less is more" approach.

I blame the Canuck fans, the tournament is pretty much a sham now. Not only are they going to vote their stupid orca C to win the tournament, but they're obviously voting for every other Canadian team too. This can easily be noting by watching the growth in the Ottawa/Boston log poll. Once the Canuck fans started their crusade Ottawa's logo votes rocketed, same thing happened to the Edmonton/Chicago voting poll too. My interest in this poll died when we went from having an interesting match up of original six team logos, to a complete mockery. On a side note, Canuck fans are really annoying, not just because of this but just in general. I've lived in BC for quite awhile because my fiancee lives their so I now this first hand.

Hmmm... well... it's different.

I believe with signing Langfield, Nashville has turned a tumultuous off-season into a recalibrated machine. No doubt Josh's punishing style of play will be a thorn in our side for the 8 games we'll have to deal with him.
