Not exactly happy with our play despite the lead, I realize it's entirely on purpose that we're playing not to lose but San Jose isn't a team I feel comfortable doing that against. On the plus side this is exactly the type of Game Dom loves to play, his confidence is blinding out there right now (hence why he thinks he's a defense men probably.) I especially dislike this type of play when the refs are sticking to their mantra of "Subjective hooking: it's what ties games up in the third!" I won't honestly feel comfortable unless we net another goal or at least start pressing on offense.

I've always said Sammy's a streaky guy, not a reliable scorer by any means or a great player, but when he's on his game our team is flat out deadly. San Jose can only be shaking their heads right now, overall outplayed us and end up down by two all their top players -2 and who's to blame for this? Sammy, our teams biggest goat going into the playoffs.

The only way you'll ever see that guy again is if the Sharks win it in 7, then he'll probably end up being banned.

Actually I'm quite worried about this game, I feel a lose means we kill the series with the Sharks winning it in 6. A win means, well I think we still lose game 6 and probably win game 7. Homer's return makes me quite confident, and I know there's no quit in our team so it'll be going down to the last second. But it's kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for us depending on how things go scoring wise. They score first and we have to spend the entire game playing catch up, we score first and they stay hungry the entire game and we end up being the ones trying to sit on a lead.

That's completely unrealistic, we all know San Jose scores 2 goals each game. 10-2 Wings. There much better.

For a guy who originally picked the Sharks to tear us apart and take it in 5, I must say our determination has really changed my perspective on this series. I can't help see this going to 7 were just about anything can happen. This is far and away one of the hardest to predict series I've seen in recent history. I won't even bother giving an estimate as to who I think will win this, just that it'll go to seven.

Call me crazy but I don't see him playing this mediocre as a bad thing, we all know he won't be 100% until he gets a few months or so to fully rehabilitate his back. Perhaps if we resign him his current play will be ruled as the main factor dictating the amount of salary he receives, in which case we could get him for significantly less than what was originally perceived. Probably just wishful thinking but I feel it's a possibility.

Draperfan actually has an alarm set off in his room that rings every time Bertuzzi's name is brought up in any thread. Hot on pursuit, he then barrages him with borderline psychotic rants ranging from decent points to complete irrationality in order to make Bert appear as the anti-christ. In all seriousness, yes, yes he does. In fact aside from Bertuzzi bashing he doesn't really post on these boards at all.

Interestingly enough that is my cellphone ringer. As for what I'm actually listening too. A lot of 89X actually, odd since I'm not much of a radio music sort of guy, but that really only extends to pop/top40 stations. As for what I listen to mostly on my ipod currently would be; Say Anything, Eels, Nightmare of You, and Minus the Bear. Edit: Added what I was actually listening to.
