But Vancouver got 'er done.... eventually.

I'm drinking Samuel Adams, Cream Stout out of my Chelios/Lidstrom Arby's glass.

Most of the time the NHL channels aren't even up until the games start, or at least that's what I understood from my experiences.
-
Please don't remind me, those cost me sleep last year Love the avatar by the way.

The refs can call EVERYTHING, we can see 20 powerplays per team and I wouldn't entirely mind as long as they're fair and the calls go both ways.

Incredible looking signature there Offsides, might be the best I've seen anywhere Rather than post a game prediction I'm going to predict how many total pages this thread is going to have by the end of the night! I'll say 58 and may we get a shot on goal for each page

Disputing this is pointless, Hartnell is dirty player who's done this numerous times, he was also penalized for it and obviously Cheechoo got the worst of it, something the initiator of a knee on knee rarely suffers compared to the victem. Though as much of a dirt bag Hartnell is he's now made this my favorite series outside of Detroits. Can't wait to see what happens next, hope Hartnell gets targetted though and not someone else.

The fact that it's rather well made, slightly detracts from the fact it makes me wanna stick narrow peices of bamboo underneath my finger nails. But yeah that was almost predetermined for me Cheesey paradies aren't exactly my cup of tea, but with that being said I challange this song to the "It feels so empty without Stanley" Eminem Red Wings parady song in 03'.

My real pick is Lidstrom, Hasek would get more credit but he's faced the least amount of shots per game and who might the lead contributing of this be? Zetterberg and Datsyuk get my second place tie. Had Zetterberg been healthy the entire season and would have continued at his torrid pace he might be number one.

That's easy, Norton.

So what this thread is strictly nothing more than speculation? If so we already have a thread concearning something similar enough to this very topic that it'd belong in.
-
Source? SOURCE?! Either way great news I thought he'd play, hope you're right in saying this.

This is pretty much my sediment right here, let us not forget the injury went to a neck sprain to a slight concussion the next day+Neck Sprain. Now it's just a concussion and yes he played right after the incodent and finished the period. The only reason I could understand him not playing aside from doctor's orders, is if this in anyway effects his back and this re-opning that whole can of worms.

I'd bet practically anything that we see no sweeps this year, at least not in the West, way too much depth and strength through out the conference. Us and Cal will go to at least 6 games. I do feel since Calgary looked pretty lost the past couple few games we have a VERY slim chance of pulling one off, but I kow Calgary's squad is going to bring it from the very start. Anyways, my pick for series most likely to end in a sweep is Buffalo sweeping the Islanders.

I actually think Sammy's not gonna dissapoint, he's pretty streaky and he did end the season with a 5 point game. I hope more than anything he can carry that streak through at the very least game 1, especially if Bert's out.
-
If you don't like the guy that's fine, but please keep your opinion to yourself. Not to say you can't express your opinion on such a matter but you're driving home the same point over and over again, being entirely irrational in your approach. If you don't want me and every other poster on this forum to berate you for being so stubbornly hateful, than please learn not to base the entirety of Bertuzzi's playing career on one moment either.
-
I'm revising my decision as I'm thinking Datsyuk will be a non-factor and one either Bertuzzi or Zetterberg will sadly end up missing some key games or be forced to play at something far less than 100%. Calgary in 7. Love the Wings and all but I gotta stay realistic and this is just the way I see things going.
-
Bertuzzi will play, it's all a head game with Calgary at the moment We make them think otherwise then on game day they'll all cower in his shadow as he takes the ice. Or so I can only hope.

My place of employment doesn't support beards, however I found a loophole. They do allow mustaches, though I end up looking like a mexican 16 year old when I try the mustache thing. In fact as a whole I might be the all-time least capable male when it comes to growing facial hair. This however is not a proper enough deterrent and I'll do what I can.

Assumeing no one's injured and everyones playing their A-game for us (and Calgary too) Wings in 6. If Zetterberg struggles it'll go to seven as long as Datsyuk doesn't Datsuck. If both are a non factor we'll be out in 7, and if for some reason neither are a non-factor and Bert re-aggrivates some injury, Calgary in 6 (barring significant injury on their part.) Not saying we're a one-two person team, rather I think the match up is so close that it'll come down to that.

This has nothing to do with this game rather the one Chicago's playing now against Dallas but, Cam Barker just left the ice holding his face after a hit from Robidas. Karma's a ***** eh?

Floppa back to Colorado? According to Dever Post...
Vincanni replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
Not gonna look into this too strongly, whether Floppa really wants to come back to Colorado is yet to be seen. He said he might not even play and then only suggested it's one of many possible destinations, for all we know he was just being diplomatic. Do you really think he'd tell a Colorado intervieweing "Nope, not gonna come back to Denver, screw you guys." As for breathing a sigh of relief, I believe 75%, maybe more of our fans (myself included) wanted them instead of Calgary. -
Colorado will likely try their hardest to win this one and use all their skill guys just to put a decent end on a playoffless year. Calagry will be half the team they were last night. Though Parker made last ngihts line up, probably should be in their tonight too.

Looking forward to this years playoffs, from what I remember in '04, Calgary had a good lot of nice knowledgable fans. Helped make me a fan of their team as I rooted for them to win the cup that year after our elimination. Of course I'm expecting this year to be different for us Wing fans, but no matter the outcome I hope things can stay civil and we can appreciate this great sport. As we are hockey fans first and foremost despite what team we may root for.
