All this is worth is a permanent STFU to any Pens whiner crying about being robbed as yeah Malkin should be gone a game, but he won't be. Instead us Wing fans get to admonish the fact he did nothing in his fight except sit in BJ position while the refs saved him from having Z break his face open.

I'd be more concerned, but if we had Datsyuk these past couple games to shut down Malkin, we'd be looking at a pair of 3-0 games right now.

I'm and so utterly confident in the Wings winning this series, why? Because we can sit back and play PK hockey for almost an entire period and actually pull it off! Pens have had nothing for the past 20 minutes of play.

Pens need to stop embellishing calls, its obvious the refs are calling next to nothing yet these whiners act so blatently to no avail its pathetic. Z gets his stick knocked out of his hand and goes down to pick it up immediately while Oprik shrugs his shoulders and looks around for a ref like a little *****. That right there is professionalism. This is the playoffs, not the regular season. Complaints about non-calls are absolutely laughable as next to nothing has been called all playoffs long!

Wings definitely look tired, though not as bad as the end of the first. Me thinks our depth is starting to equalize the fatigue factor.

Looks like the end of the period malaise isn't just a 1st period affliction. Wings need to dig deep and pull out some hustle or else we could be tied really soon here.

So Crosby incidentally gets tripped up while Cleary is sodimized with a Pens stick and they only mention the Cindy non-call.

Beautiful effort by the Wings there, pity we couldn't buy a PP or anything at least an icing was forced.

God I can't wait till Dats gets back and shuts down Malkin, he's basically 99% of the Pens offense.

For the reference, yeah it was a BS softy of a penalty that the Pens scored on, but the Wings deserved to be scored on regardless. So really moot point, Wings need to cease being out hustled and play less slopy big time. Loved the early energy, but really worried at the way the Wings finished that period, makes me think they're tired (which they look) in which case things will only get worse.

Good start, bad ending to a period. Thankfully Pens only scored one on an imaginary penalty. Either way, Datsyuk can not heal fast enough.

Pk could have been better, but at least its somewhat satisfying to know the Pens can;t do much without the refs.

Great win for the Wings, had some especially scary moments early in the second, but we prevailed as any great team does. Fun fact: Once Dats comes back Malkin will be as invisible as Crosby was tonight.
