Everyone seems to have forgotten that ESPN did not tender a deal to show the NHL. While I would love to blame Betteman for this as well as my cellulite, global warming and the fact that the sun will eventually implode in about a billion years, he took the only deal he had on the table. That said: Die, Butthead, DIE!!

I'm starting to warm to the idea of revenue sharing. Whatever level of success Nashville achieves, the fans will always know it's due in part to Wings fans. We're paying for it.

Why on God's green earth does anyone even begin to care about what anyone else is saying elsewhere? Let them rant. They have their team, we have ours. Which would you rather have? Let's not waste our breath bashing these fans, or any others for that matter. We have better things to talk about, like playoffs!

If you don't like it, take it up with Matt. *Edit* I should specify. I deleted an atrocious post - the usual South bashing. We all know how I feel about expansion, but this thread is no outlet for stereotypical baiting.

I agree a win would give him more confidence, but I'm fairly certain he's not in any danger of going downhill over this. He is well aware he kept those guys in the game last night. I think the team let him know it as well. He's done nothing but play spectacularly, and I hope it continues.
