From the horse's mouth (so to speak): Matt & Mrs. Matt are up for Chelli's Chili as soon as we are. Does the 22nd work for everyone? We can BBQ or something if BRTD hits town.

BRTD, you have to call when you hit town. If you can't do the Toast to Stevie, you could hang out with Muse and me one night. We could spark the bong, tie dye some shirts and listen to the "Hair" soundtrack. Whaddaya think? VIB - you've got better weather and food, we've got the Godfaddah. Game, set, match.

I'm intrigued. I think an update might be just the thing. There's been so many changes lately, Wings should keep up with the times. There's been some good ideas kicked around. I'm tied up today, but I'll try and come up with some designs tomorrow. I like the idea of incorporating silver and black into it a la Stanley Cup. Montreal and Toronto may have more Cups, but not recently. Wings are definately more closely associated with Lord Stanley than any other team in the league right now, and that doesn't seem to be changing any time soon. I'll post what I come with. WOO HOO, Vladinator's penciled in. Muse, Kenny Rogers "Lady" is a completely different song from JDs and I think "Grandma's Feather Bed" is just about being a kid - no Michael Jackson overtones. And I don't know the words to "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" now, so drunk would be impossible. *whew* One more bullet dodged! How funny that the season's not even over yet and we're talking about training camp. We need a hockey support group.

How about "Sunshine on My Shoulders" or "Thank God I'm a Country Boy"? Would you be "Leavin' On a Jet Plane" at that point? Up north, we might be able to jump on "Grandma's Feather Bed" and discuss "Rhymes and Reasons" of the state of our society. Then you could "Follow Me" and "Fly Away" to a "Starwood in Aspen". After all that, we'd say "Take Me Home Country Roads" and be "Back Home Again", "Lady." Sound like fun? Are those crickets I hear? You changed your phone number?!

Kidnapping is always an option! Kira, I am SO not a camper. I generally need showers and electricity and my own bed, but a mini road trip would be doable. An afternoon picnic maybe?

I'd like to see the Ducks in the first round and I'd like to see the Wings pound them into the boards swiftly and violently and erase the spectre forever.

I am all about tradition, folks. Thanksgiving without a Lions game is unthinkable, but a Superbowl every 7 years is heady stuff. The revenue could go a long way to improving the city all the way around.

Close to the TV, the bar AND the restrooms? What more could you ask for? And since my gratuities start at 20%, I have no problem with 18. Everyone should be forewarned that they will probably not do separate checks so either have cash or expect to put a pretty hefty tab on your credit card!
