Any "feeling out" yet, RivalRed?

Maybe the first one should be at Champps so we can all talk and the next one at Spectadium for a wider range of things to do?

To the best of my knowledge, Champps does not accept reservations. That MAY just be on weekends, but I don't think so. Will Mr. Muse be rested this time around? We'll expect a little more out of him since he's met the initial cast of characters and knows what to expect and doesn't have a huge audition coming up. Geez, too bad you can only bank those points for a week, eh? I'm penciled in. I don't see any reason at this point why I can't make it, barring getting arrested for child abuse. (My 13 year old is lounging at home during midwinter break not doing his chores as we speak while I'm at work.) The fact that I am currently posting on a hockey message board rather than slaving is immaterial.

I always say you gotta be lucky to be good, so I don't think Vokoun himself would really care if you said he was lucky on a few (Shanny off the post into the back of his glove) The Preds really wouldn't do anything ("IMO") without Vokoun, since most teams only have one "starting goalie" if you went to a back up you'd more than likely be swept in the first round. The Wings on the other hand to me our a superior team in the fact that it really wouldn't matter who started in net for us, as I believe that the team as a whole is a better team. Not to take anything away from the Preds but, they were SUPER lucky to get out of town with 2 wins. Probably the luckiest they'll be all season. So the Wings defensive breakdowns, inability to pass, shooting weak shots right at the goalie and a penalty being called every thirty seconds were just bad luck for the Wings then, eh? Lucky or not, they came away with two wins, and if I were them, I'd take it.

Part of the problem is that I think Nashville is surprised we're matching their speed. They need to pull some crap to stop a goal, as do we. The other problem is the constant penalty calling on questionable penalties. No blood, no foul as far as I'm concerned, and that goes both ways. (Obviously you need to call some of this, I'm just exaggerating to make a point.) This would be a great game if they'd just let them play.
