I know there's people who think the refs are out to get us and people who think those people should skip that third bowl of crack for breakfast, but when has anyone gotten a suspension for something they've done to one of the Wings' stars? A couple of fines, but I can't think of a suspension off the top of my head. Not to say it hasn't happened, but we do seem to be getting the short end of the justice stick.

A) This is the first I've heard of it. B) PMing Matt is a better way to get something done about site-related issues than cluttering a GDT with it.

Yes, but if you pull your goalie and score quick, that's the spark. You put your goalie back in and build from there. Can't STAND Roy, but I appreciate his risk-taking. Kinda like going for the 2-point conversion - teams should do it more often.

I was all prepared to feel bad for Kane*, but on watching the play, Petrovic basically did diddly squat. Not sure what caused Kane to fall, but it certainly wasn't another player. Maybe his skate caught a chip in the ice? And OMG the announcers! 'Nasty hit from behind"? Pffffffft. I really need to apply for an announcing job. I can make s*** up as well as anyone else. *Not really, but ya know.

In my experience the only seats closely monitored are the lower bowl on the bench side. You must present your ticket each and every time you attempt to enter. I never sit in lower bowl unless I'm given the tickets - it's more fun and a better view in the upper bowl.

If and when you all pass the bar, kudos! and I'm sure you'll have steady careers representing sparring LGW members and sports figures. However, the topic at hand is actually Hank and the mysterious injury. Let's get back to that, shall we?

It does seem that the players all get together before the game and decide to have a bad night. Rarely is it only one or two players having an off game - the whole team struggles en masse. Great minds!

HUGE C&H fan, but let's get back to hockey, shall we?

Hockey embodies respect, and not a small part of that comes from paying due to those that came before. O6 teams highlighted arguably the best players that will ever play the game. Honoring the traditions of hockey is, at least to my generation, part of what makes this game special. There's a reverence afforded to Maurice Richard and Gordie Howe that will probably never be reproduced, as much as the league is attempting to force certain players into that strata. Fans of expansion teams have the advantage of (hopefully) watching their teams grow and being witness to many firsts that fans of O6 teams will never get to experience, but I wouldn't trade my respect for and pride in the Original 6 for anything, and that's something they'll never get to experience.

The next showing is on ESPN2 Friday at midnight, or Thursday night depending on how you think of it.

Isn't there a clause in the CBA that prevents teams from buying out injured players? If he hasn't recovered from whatever's going on with him, Wings may not have that option, even if they did want to execute it.

Legible signs take a long time to make, so keep it short. I would hold up something mentioning the fact she's from the UK. Cute Wings fan from England should score a puck fairly easily. Maybe even be straightforward - "I flew all the way from England to get a Wings' puck!" And then something saying hi to Nyquist on the other side.
