The NHL is in a tough position. They should spread out the WC, but who's going to watch Columbus v Phoenix? They're guaranteed a decent audience putting the Wings in with Columbus - it's close enough for Michiganders to make the trek and Jackets fans will come in droves, but the national appeal is still lower than women's basketball probably. How are they going to be inclusive and not lose money on the deal?

Oh, I have no doubt your "make George Clooney and Johnny Depp jealous" looks had her swooning, but sorry, no. I go to almost every Leafs game in town and they've gotten progressively more snotty. Used to be the absolute best fans - I even commented to a Leafs fan once while we were waiting to get in how much I enjoyed the Leafs fans at the Joe. Both games they were, as a whole, so and so's. Yeah, that's right. I said it. So and so's. Maybe they're just tired of losing, I don't know, but not a single one offered me a TimBit. Not one. TONS of them in my section last game - ragged on the team, the city, fans, the whole nine yards. I was surprised. Thought maybe they were incognito Philly fans.

By "shared with" she meant "stole from." There really are no issues between fanbases at the Joe. Not even with Toronto fans, who have become increasingly annoying lately for some reason. Flyers fans are, by and large, assholes when they come to the Joe for some reason. I love talking to other teams fans and have had overall great experiences with them. I've only ever seen 1 Wings fan be an ass without provocation, and once I said something to him, him stopped. The best advice for anyone going anywhere is to just be respectful. Cheer on your team, but don't be a troll.

I think we have more to fear from St. Louis fans than the other way around! She should be fine.
