So you don't have to try to be obnoxious, it just comes naturally to you. To the average fan, there are not 1230 games; there are 82. And given that there was no WC for 82 years and only 1 or none for 6 years, having 6 in one year removes any hint of novelty, even fairly.

That's definitely true. Chicago has always been a regional rivalry; they beat us up, we beat them on the scoreboard and badly. It's always been an important one, albeit lopsided. Yeah, that rivalry ain't happenin'. It could have developed into one, but that chance is missed with the Wings going East. The Preds fans will just have to have fantasies about somebody else. Amen. Toronto will always be our biggest rival as far as I'm concerned.

Wings/Leafs will be the most epic, of course, but this really makes the WC a joke, especially if they continue to do this. Way to f*** up another cool thing about hockey, NHL. Will it never end?

While white is black, up is down and the earth has tilted on its axis with Toronto clinching a spot and the Wings on the bubble, I kinda like how important each and every game is at the end of this season. -
And this concludes the Bertuzzi portion of our discussion. I'd like to bold pretty much this entire post. What I wouldn't give to have a McCarty or a Shanahan on this roster; someone who contributes and runs interference, not just a goon. *Joe Kocur, please pick up the white courtesy phone. Just wanted to say I really miss the days when you would add to the conversation instead of the sarcastic drive-bys that are becoming SOP for you. Franzen is suffering from bi-polar disorder this game; he'll make a good play then forget what he was doing.

It was during a broadcast - some people were sporting them at the game that night and the announcers said they'd already been selling at the aforementioned venues. I'll do a little sleuthing and see what I can come up with. ****'s Sporting Goods says they're in stock and will ship in 2-3 business days. Shop NHL says advance sale, will ship in 7-9 business days. -
