Franzen just saying that he shouldn't have come back into the game because the team did better without him. Has no idea how many stitches he received (rumor has it at 21) and isn't considering a guard.

There's nothing about this anywhere else. I realize the Wings official site is usually way behind LGW, but I find it hard to believe that with a home game pending tomorrow that there wouldn't be some kind of warning issued there. For now, I call BS.

It does indeed stand for short-handed goals, but as there are no shootouts in the playoffs, it wouldn't matter.

I know we are all much better "armchair coaches" than Bobcock, but there's no way we can be the only ones to see how brutal the Lidstrom/Stuart matchup is. I say he pairs them up again only out of necessity, so the chances we see the top four as mentioned are 98%.

I believe it's in our state constitution that CBC be included in any TV package. It's a regular channel here, just like 2,4,7, etc.

Yes, the money we donate will go to Children's Hospital in the name of LetsGoWings.com. Everyone will PayPal me their donation when it is not possible to donate any more money under the terms of your pledge. I will donate one lump sum to Children's Hospital.

One-time payment once we have a total. I chose to pledge per series - you can pledge per game, per win, whatever floats your boat, but the Wings have to take the series for Children's Hospital to get the money.

Luck? Yes. A few calls? Sure. Problem is the whole hockey world has seen entire games called solely for the benefit of Chicago; you can't claim this is sour grapes - fan bases who don't give a rats ass about Chicago are talking about it. Personally I would be embarrassed if the only way the Wings made it to the playoffs the last 20 years was with a healthy leg-up from the officials. Enjoy it while you can.

True and true, but I was lobbying for the Wings to trap a little in the third today until the defense could settle down a bit. It does have its uses.

Quite the madhouse in front of the Wild net - I really, really thought they were going to tie it up there, but there was the benefit of a quick whistle.

Some mighty big "ifs" in that scenario, but I agree it would make for some great matchups if it comes to fruition.
