In order to really appreciate everything on the island, you need to stay at least a week. I was there for a month last summer working, and was there for a vacation for a week back in '02 and I saw a whole bunch of stuff that the average "fudgie" doesn't ever get to see

ahhh that was a nice weekend... prolly close to 500 miles of driving, $100 poorer, sunburnt, and a totally exhilarating trip to Mackinac Island and a chance to see the Tigers beat the Yankees!

yeah, I work at an ice rink and we melted one of our sheets down for the summer and it got hot in there with the compressors off. weird
