the only reason I watch anymore is to see which new way they find to lose a game. it seems every week, there is a different deficiency that they exploit to lose that particular game.

yeah, I got nothing.... what a waste. Poor Galarraga, he has been in line for his 13th win for a while, but the pen keeps blowing it. This is going to be a long offseason. Go Wings!

I think Guillen has found himself on his way out. He has been bounced around 3 infield positions this season and has not found his spot at any of them. Unless they keep him as a DH, I don't think I would like to see him back. He is always nursing something, so I think it is time to sever ties and bring up someone like Hessman who can play 3B. Maybe Dusty has earned his spot at C and they can move Inge back to 3rd. Anyone who watches Inge plays knows that he is infinitely more comfortable and effective at 3rd. Next season we will get Bondo back, hopefully Freddy will stay, Justin was hopefully plagued this season by an atrocious bullpen, Kenny has been ineffective this year, hopefully he is done, Nate... I don't know what to think about him, Dontrelle I can't really make any judgments as I haven't seen him hardly at all this year, Zach could be fit into the rotation, Armando has earned a spot next year. The offense looks good besides Sheff, and I don't know what they will decide to do with Guillen. The only gaping hole is obviously the pen. Grandy has had a terrific season despite his early injury. Polly is Polly. Maggs is solid, knocking at 100 RBIs again, Cabby started slow but has really taken off and I think he will boom next season, Thames has his moments though he might be best suited as a DH, Joyce needs to develop a little more, Rayburn is a good utility guy, Renteria should be a 1 year and gone flop, Santiago is a fantastic fielder who will hit .300 in limited at bats, Inge will never win any batting titles, but he is really irreplaceable on this team. The rookies like Hessman, Joyce, and Larish need a little more development time, but Hessman might me the most major league ready. So that is my assessment of the team this year.

3 straight games that the bullpen blows it. release everyone except seay and get a whole new pen for next year. this is freeking ridiculous. DD has to make numerous significant moves this offseason in the pen, i can't stand this s*** anymore

so yeah, I wake up in my room here in the basement this morning, everything is as usual... the family goes up north to visit relatives for the day, we get home, and apparently there was a hurricane in West Michigan because my whole basement is under an inch of water. this is where all the TV cable and internet stuff is wired, and of course it is all on the floor, and hence under water when I get to it. what a great day

well, we got atlanta right away in week 1. predictions? I say that atlanta will not be able to stop our air attack, that will open up our run. Kitna goes for 275 and 3 TD's and smith/rudi combine for 150 and 1 TD. That adds up to a 28-14 win.
