say we get someone like Tkachuk, how long would it take for that player to stick up for one of our guys, i mean for the last how many years has Tkachuk been trying to take off our heads? I wouldn't expect an immediate turnaround if we get that kind of trade. On the other hand, if the player we acquire is smart and wanted to win over his new team, he would get into a few fights in his first game, and lay on a few retaliation hits. Which one would be closer to something that would happen?

besides the obvious need of a gritty scoring winger, what other moves could happen for the wings by the deadline?

I would be fine with winning the division, because nashville isnt going anywhere which means we will have to play playoff hockey to win the division. the past few seasons we have coasted into the playoffs, but if we actually have to play going into the playoffs, I think we will be better off.

he is a good player, but good players with baggage sometimes become distractions i.e. T.O., Forsberg, Shaq, Charles Rogers... They are all good players, and sometimes they go on to win, but they are distractions. Maybe big mike can whip him into shape. please don't rip on me, I am just stating what I have noticed in these kinds of situations
