i just confirmed my theory that every time you refresh this page, it counts as a new view on the view count... that could be why it is so skewed on the post/view count

he plays every game like it is his last, i think he truley appreciated playing at the professional level and realizes how hard it is to play and be successful. He is one of the fortunate few who gets to play a game for a living, and he gets excited to see 20,000 people cheering for him.

theres always cameras showing the entire ice surface from behind the goals, there has got to be some video, no matter how far away, showing the stomping motion

yes, thank you, that post right there should end all of this debate... now lets focus on the Tigers as a team and hope for success this season

theres two facets to baseball, both are eqally important: offense and defense. Cabrera can hit better, but he sure as hell can't even hold a candle to Inge in the field. Inge got royally shafted by DD. Inge had an off year, just like many other major leaguers do. He is capable of hitting .280-.290, 30 homers and 90 RBIS... as a lower lineup hitter. He hit 28 homers in '06 out of the 9-hole. s***, Andruw Jones hit for a worse average than Inge last year. Inge is going to be a great 3B somewhere, its just a shame that DD didn't give him a fair shot after signing him to that contract.

This was the longest fight I have seen in a while, this was going on for 15-20 seconds even before I got my camera up.

This is irrelevant. The money doesnt matter to Inge. All he wants to do is play ball. His love is 3B and he wants to play every day. He is the face of the Tigers and gets the shaft when Cabrera comes to town. The reason the Tigers signed him to his contract is because he is a vital ingredient to this team's turnaround. He was there through the 119 losses, he worked his way around the diamond and found his spot at 3rd. He worked his way up to gold glove caliber and his team gets to the World Series. He signed a contract to be the Tigers 3rd baseman for 4 more years. He was comfortable finally that he was a major league starting 3B and had the security of a long term contract. Then all of a sudden your team gives you the heave-ho and you are stuck not playing every day and forced to play another position... one that you havent played in years. How would you feel? He just wants to play ball.

yeah, the last 5 minutes of a b-ball game takes a half hour with the 200 timeouts the teams have each game. 1 time out... use it wisely. If you are down by 23, you had better get scoring cuz that clock wont stop. suck it up and get it done on the floor. Don't call 6 full time outs, 1 20-second per half, just get it done. argh, I hate basketball.

i think we should definitely pursue miller, he is young, good, and from MI. He is a goalie that could take us into the next 5-8 years and get us out of the older goalie phase we have been in since '01.

should I tape the wings game wednesday and go see mac in his last home game as a griff, or should I stay home and watch the wings live?
