anyone know or have used a cheap airplane ticket place? I want to go visit my cousin in hawaii but all the plane tickets are a bit pricey

ok, i am torn on where to go for spring break, if i do go anywhere... my cousin is stationed in hawaii, so if I go there, i can stay for free, but the plane ticket is pricey, and I would have to rent a car. or I can go to DC and see all the sights there and stay at a hotel and drive my own car, or another option that I cant think of yet
