I don't think Jimmy will have a sophmore slump. He is gunna be what, 26-27 years old? He has played full time the last 4 years in the minors and played really well last season with the Wings. He is a pro and knows how to handle playing 50+ games.

un-freeking-believable. no one other than the relief lost the game today. Everyone else looked like they played really well, but the relief lost that one themselves.

Yeah, Maggs might be a good re-sign, but I am glad he wont qualify for his automatic 15M next year. Robertson was NEVER worth what they paid for him, and it was stupid to give Willis that much having never really proved himself. Inge is still a solid .250 20HR 80RBI guy, and a gold glove at 3B, so I don't mind paying him at all. With about 50M available for next year, we NEED a capable SS, C, two SP, and to get rid of Don Kelly.

Major League Baseball is a freeking joke. Not the game, but the business and it's executives and umpires. Blown call after blown call have cost the Tigers history and wins this year, and now after another blown call, Leyland comes out to argue, accidentally spits some of his sunflower seeds on the ump, gets tossed, and suspended. And what about all the umpires that blew the calls? NOTHING!

miner, seay, zumaya, maggs, guillen, inge... those are big pieces we do not have anymore. I think this season is a wash like the wings last year.

got a chance to take advantage of the all-you-can-eat seats last night. pretty good deal, you get an A/C suite, bathroom, lots of food. Saw the guillen walk-off homer as well. it was a pretty cool night.

if he was obviously safe, but the ump called him out to seal a perfect game, the losing team would be a little angry, but thats it. The opposite happened here and it is infinitely worse. This kid pitched a hell of a game and was gunna be the first perfect game in tigers history, but that dips*** in blue will need the secret service to get him out of detroit tonight.

I am very confused by this Tigers team. With a 22-17 record, they are good, but I don't think I know which team will show up on a nightly basis.

The Rookies are really stepping it up! Boesch and Sizemore both get their first ML homers and Jackson goes 5-5 and leads the AL in hits. Starting to like this team a bit. Just need to whip the starters into shape and we might have a team this year!
