Well, the champ is going to have to beat 4 very good teams in the playoffs to win the cup. True competitors relish a challenge. If they aren't worried, I am not worried. If we lose in the playoffs, the better team won. The same goes for a victory for us. In the meantime, lets make it to the end of the regular season before we worry about the playoff opponent.

I was coming along the boards into the offensive zone chasing a loose puck when the goalie came out to try and knock it away, i tipped it past him, but the puck went on edge and started rolling away so I had to dive and I swatted it into the net while I was in mid-air. And I also liked my only 4-goal game as well. -
Kronner is a good hockey player. During the lockout he ripped up the AHL. The skill is there he just needs a full season under his belt to get his legs under him.

Kronner and Markov are the only D-men who will step up and deliver a nice hit. At least with him on the ice, the opposition is thinking about him. I think he will turn out just fine, he has not played a full season in the NHL yet, so just give him time to get his big boy pants on.

well, we figured out how to score a lot in the 3rd period. lets hope the wings remember that the game starts at 7:30 and bring it from the opening puck drop. too often of late they have realized, "Oh snap, its 2nd intermission and we need to score 3 goals to win." just start that goal scoring in the 1st and the fans can go home without a defibrillator hanging off their chests like in the last 3 games. I missed the last 2 games, so I am excited to watch them again.

don't count your chickens buddy, nothing is guaranteed in the NHL. It would be nice to pick up the next two wins, but as we have seen this year, anything can happen.

I think March 26, 1997 was a fitting way to get back at Lemieux. Mac did what everyone in Detroit wanted to do since the Drapes hit. Bring Mac Back!
