What a fun game!! I'd love one more high octane player but can't be upset after watching that game this evening. Mantha, AA, Larkin and Hirose flashed the future this evening and they deserved the win.

Just glad to see AA pop before Holland trading him. He’s my favorite Wing next to Larkin. I want to see those kids hoist a cup one day!!

I hate games these days, hoping we lose for a top pick and yelling for AA and the boys when they score. Any chance Larkin gets a C and AA an extra A??

Hope all this loyalty given to contracts of scrubs is shown in spades to Larkin and AA long term. I'm hoping Yzerman opens new doors and a better relationship with some of these kids.

We really need to bench AA if we are losing for Hughes. So glad they didn’t trade him last year.

Let me know when the "development" begins, the only exciting thing I've seen to cheer for is the tankathon. If the developing tankathon is the goal then Holland and Blashill should both be extended as we'll continue to have high draft picks with both at the helm.

6 game losing streak and the most embarrassing loss of the season and Holland is looking for the extension on Blashill. Guess he’s liking what he sees.

A lot of fans seem to be embracing the losing culture and are complacent with mediocrity. Hoping Yzerman can reverse that.

Stevie Y transitioned the team from the Deadthings to our beloved RedWings back in the day. History will repeat itself when we get rid of Holland once and for all.

Some of you deserve Holland and his downward trajectory. Every year is Groundhog Day and your happy with his do nothing youth movement smokescreen. You are achieving the low bar being set and are happy to keep those lowering the bar in place.

The Wings sucked last year because their defense couldn't play defense not because AA couldn't. He's got a higher ceiling than only 3-4 guys on the team, his trade value is higher and he's just a better player. Not once last year did I turn on the television to watch any member of our defense and it likely won't happen again this year. I don't understand the logic in anyone saying they'd rate Howard or any member of our defense above him. We've got a good young core at Forward and have done nothing to address the gaping hole on defense. If the argument is lets trade AA or some other talent to get a defenseman sure lets do it but lets not act like any of these role players and mid-level talent is anything close to Larkin, Mantha, AA or Zadina. AA is a special talent and I think he'll have a breakout year, glad we resigned him.
