Well, Regehr is our best shutdown player. So regardless of what he says, its a huge boost to have him back in the lineup. Aside from Kiprusoff, the guy that makes the most impact on how the team fare's is Reggie.

Oh and yeah..good chance McCarty plays tomorrow.

Just 1 error, David Moss will be playing. Look for Ritchie to sit if Friesen dresses. I'm going to go ahead and call a Flames win here, 4-2. Not sure why, and I probably shouldn't....but I have a great feeling going into tomorrow!

Say what you want about Iginla on the ice. Iginla the person is not an *******. Probably the nicest guy in hockey.

Not sure if its been mentioned yet, but Jeff Friesen will return tomorrow but Regehr is still a gametime decision. My gut is telling me he won't play. Friesen in likely means Ritchie out.

I'm starting to get a good feeling about the Flames for game 2. Weird thing is, the feeling I get before the game usually pans out to be true. If the Flames can somehow snag a win from JLA, it'll be a be a best of 5 series and we'll have the home ice advantage. Starting to get pumped for the game and its still a day and a half away!

Bertuzzi has backed down from Iginla more than once in the past. Not sure why that would change now.

I'd love to see Mac play in place of Ritchie in game 2 and I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen.

Vid wouldnt work for me but I assume his ridiculous pass to Datsyuk was in there. That was, in my eyes, one of the top 5 plays of the year in th NHL. I loved it so much I even started a thread about it on the Flames board...freakin' sick pass.

BTW, Cleary did NOT run Kipper. Jesus, he was sliding on the ice. Plain as day.

Hey, thanks! This team has lowered my expectations significantly. Its not the same type of that made Calgary fall in love with their Flames in 2004. That lunchbucket crew was just so gosh darn inspiring! Its easier now to look at this team objectively, instead of getting emotionally wrapped up in it. This team just frustrates the hell out of me. I know we'll play better on Sunday, but it still might not be good enough to win. I'm not selling my playoff tickets just yet, but if we lose game 2 the way we lost game 1 send me a message if anyone is looking for game 3 and 4 tickets. J/K I was so mad, in the 1st intermission I was opening a can of soup and broke the can opener clean in half...soup spilled all over my floor. The soup was red...Flames red...not a good sign of things to come.

Ference was the embodiment of the old style Flames hockey. Never took a shift off. Stuart...loads of potential but can be lazy as all hell.

Alot of talk about Bertuzzi coming back to play in game 2, don't forget Robyn Regehr should dress as well. Regehr has a ton of value to us. Hopefully the rest of the team can pick it up though, this was an abomination. I'm not liking Stuart so much right now. I want Andrew Ference back.

Wrong. I'm upset that they didn't come out to play. Didn't display any heart whatsoever. Made dumb mistakes, took unecessary penatlies, and hung Kipper out to dry. Losing I can take, rolling over like they did was unacceptable. Wings played great to boot! Oh, and congrats on being the bigger man. I'll continue to be small and petty. Thanks.

You don't know whats going on at ice level...you don't know what the Wings are saying. There is such a thing as a poor winner too.

Regehr makes a huge difference. But this game is so lop-sided it wouldnt even matter. We could have Jesus Christ on the ice and Stuart, Phaneuf, and Hamrlik would still be mailing it in.
