I'm with you on that one. I think that could be a minor mistake to take him back. I mean he didn't want to be here last season. We tried to keep him and he decided to go west. He didn't have a great year this year. I think that he is past his glory days and don't think that he is worth signing any longer.

Is it me, or does 10mill sound like a lot for a multi year deal? I know he is gifted and all, but he has not been able to take a team to the promise land yet why will he be able to go to a new team and take them to the cup. To much money if you ask me.

Great news. He brought our the hitting side of D. Kronwall steped up on the hitting front once Brad laced them up for us and so did the rest of the team i thought. Good player and i think he fits into what we need. Congrats on the nice deal.

IF anyone has any leads as to were the cup may be in the future please do tell. It is a goal of mine to get a pic of me and the cup. It was up at the Dominator store in Birmingham on Saturday. Found out that morning and of course i couldn't make it there in time. Heard that Dom was signing as well there.

Well i think that Hossa is the better player right now. Thats IMO. Malkin kind of pooped the bed when it came to the finals. He didn't show up and i feel that part of was due to him just not having the heart that is needed to win an extra 16 games. Hossa had a great finals and i think that he will or could put up Malkin type numbers playing in Pitt. I would try and sign them both but i just don't see that as a possibility.

Raffi is a BA for sure. Glad to know that he take care of him self and of his teammates.

Well he had a hell of a career. He is going out a champion. He played great during the regular season and was standup guy during the playoffs. Never complained and did his part to make the team better. Thanks Dom.

finally hit the hay around 1:30am. I wanted to see any and all of the coverage. Can't wait for friday. I hope to be able to make it downtown for the parade.

Just an amazin story he ended up being. He really busted his but to get back to the NHL. He started from the bottom and worked his way all the way back to the best team in the NHL. Hope he plays one more year, if not more. He truly is an inspiration.

Brett did play great. He has speed and he played pretty smart hockey for the most part. It was awesome seeing him get the cup. Congrats.

Who remembers the old championship shirts with the cartoon drawings of the teams on them? Those are my favorite. I have not seen them since the wings won in 97, i think is when i got mine. They use to do them for the NBA and NHL. I hope that someone makes another one when the wings win.

About time some real Wing's fans showed up on this board. I have said it before, this team is mean to win the cup. They have come to far this season not to win it. So we loss a game and now we are only up a single game. Who cares, we are still up a game and we are the best team in the serise. The Pens got two lucky bounces last night, one on the hall goal (off his skate as Kronwall tried to clear the puck) and one to put in OT. Halls goal in game three was lucky one as well. They have not played a single game yet that i has made me worry about our team not winning the cup. WINGS WILL WIN GAME 6 IN THEIR ARENA

I will be switching to CBC from now on when they use that view. It is horrible. You can't see crap and it makes me feel like vomiting.

Ozzie has been playing out of his mind. With out him i don't know if we would have made it past the first round. I hope he can keep up his level of play and bring it home on Monday.
