Wow, great read.

Should have gotten more games then 8 i think. On the other hand, i didn't expect to see him get more then 1 game. This is kind of a good feeling that they are willing to sit the so called superstars.

He should get at least 15 games. Really i think that he should be getting 30 but we all know that butman will not allow for such a thing. The only reason he continues to be a goon is because he has never been punished with enough games. He will continue his goonery until they sit him a lengthy amount of time.

anyone else think that Sid the kid came back a little to early from his injury? I'm not all that upset about him not playing much this year. I'm glad to see Ovechkin get some of the spotlight this year. He is tearing it up and i feel that if Sid was healthy then everyone would be talking about him and not AO. No matter how many points he has.

Hmmmm, this would be interesting wouldn't I guess my first thought when i heard that they wanted to put it in Yankee stadium was that it woudl be Rangers and Isles or Rangers and the Devils. I guess you at least have a Orginal 6 match up, which is pretty sweet. I don't like the idea that New York would be getting it for the second year in a row. I uderstand that it is one of the markest and all that crap. But why wouldn't you share the wealth with anthoer big hockey market? I think that it would have been cool, and i only say this because they are talking yankee stadium and still think that seating will blow at a baseball stadium, if they would have just played this game in Detroit at Comerica Park. Give us a game against Toronto, Montreal or Chicago. Maybe make the warm up MSU vs. U of M. I'm a little bummed out that New York looks to be getting it for a second year in a row. I'm going to try and make it out to the game if Detroit is indeed playing in the game. Just wish that game was not going to be played in Detorit.

I feel like baseball stadiums would provide some terrible seating for a hockey game. I feel like you would be to far away.

Holly crap is all that i have to say. Never thought that he was really going to make it to the big club this year. Thought the would finish the year up in GR and then be given a shot to tryout next year. This is great news. I'm so happy to have him coming back. Hope he gets to play Sunday.

I like him a lot so far. He is playing good hockey and he is being physical. I hope that he is able to keep up. I can't wait to see him with the rest of our top D men back on the ice. who do you think he will be paired with?

OK, I just can't stand him anymore. I think that he is a teriable hockey player and he is not worth having on our roster anymore. He skates like s***, he is huge but will not hit anything, he can't handle the puck to save his life, he takes stupid penalties, he turns the puck over the worse possible situations, and he just plain sucks. I want him gone. I was really hoping that we could have moved him today for a case of practice pucks, two rolls of tape and the three pairs of skate laces. But no, we hold on to him and all he does is continue to play like s***. Please take your best shot at Lilja. Maybe if we all ***** enough he will just go way (I know this is only wishful thinking) and never ever come back to Detroit.

I think that it would be great to do this every couple of years. Maybe it could be a Hawks vs Wings game next at wrigley. that would be sweet. Don't like the idea of holding one at the big house. I just think that it is to big. Imagine being at the top of the stadium. I don't think that you would be able to see a thing. Maybe hold it again at MSU. Wish there was somewhere closer to detroit that it could be held.

Didn't happen to us against the Sharks? Somthing about a puck hitting the netting above the glass, landing on a sharks stick in front of the goal and then putting the puck in the net for a goal that did count in the end. I can't think of a bigger blown call in recent history. I'm sure there have been.

I still can figure out how Giguere's pads are legal. He is the size of a house in the net. I know they have measured his pads in the past. Do you think that he has two sets. One when he thinks that he might get measured then another that he uses most of the time?

Hell you have to try and get every penny you can well you can. I don't think that he is work that much but you still have to give it a shot. I also don't blame him for wanting out of Columbus. I don't see them making a good run at much of anythign in the near future. I would want out of their as well and would want out quick.

talk about wrong place at the wrong time for Smyth. I hope that he is going to be OK. I heard that he was walking around and reports seemed good. then i heard that he is going to be out for a while. Get well soon.
