What is going on with this team of ours? I hope that Ozzie just got a bit of stinger and that we tired from traveling. I really hope that Cheli ends up being OK. I'm still shocked that he is not playing. Does it scare anyone else that Lillypad is our most experienced player out there. Oh f*** Phaneouf as well. That was a cheap shot. I hear Downey warming up.

I don't like it at all. Lets go for a guy that we can sign long term. Lets not try and get a guy that is going to be here for the playoffs and then high tale it out of here after the season. that is the is biggest pice of crap that i have ever seen in my life. No wonder they don't have fans at their games.

No panic button here. This should make the team stronger and show us what some of the younger guys have in them. It will give them a chance to step and show that they are capiable of carrying a bigger load on their shoulders. I really can't wait to see what this team can do now that it is in a tough spot.

I would hate to see either of them go. On the other hand i would love to Hossa playing here for the next several years. I guess the big question is going to be how much he would want to sign here.

I'm on the Downey train. He is good for this team in my eyes. We need someone who can play physical hockey and drop the gloves for us. I would love to see what he could do if he got some more ice time. I know he does not have the best skills or maybe not even average skills for an NHL player. But he fills a huge hole that the Wings have had for several years now. On top of it, i would rather see him out there over Drake.

What a great story this is. I'm so happy that he has really rededicated himself to coming back and playing in the NHL. He is really playing much better then i ever thought he would be able to. Hope he keeps this up and we see him a little befor the playoffs.

Here is another article about the jackass going back on his first decision not to come back. I hate this guy Why can't he just come to grips with the fact that he is washed up and nobody really wants him in the NHL anyways. At least those are my feelings. I thought that he played very well today. Only allowed one on thirty one. Pretty nice game game for him. It's a shame that he didn't get any help from the rest of the team. I think that he has made some big steps since last season. I think that he still needs a little bit of time before he is really ready to become the number one guy here on the big club. Seems like he should be ready in the near future for that.

I don't see it happening either. I would love to see Blake in red and white. I feel like that is not going to happen either. If they are asking for draft picks, which i'm assuming that they are, then tell them to F!@# off. He wouldn't be worth a ton since he would probably not sign here for the following season and because i want to see an end to the rental player.

What a crappy game this is!!!!! Have the wheels fallen off this team or is just me? I don't understand what is going on. We are able to play good hockey minus Zetters. Cleary goes out and we can't do a damn thing. Granted this skid started before he went out, but this is F@#king ridicules. Here is to a better second period.

What a craptaculer game that was. Nothing like going down 3 - 0 in the first period and then not having much life after that. One good thing came from this game, Howard played very well in my eyes. I thought that this was the best that he has played as a Red Wing. I like the potential that he holds and hope that maybe he will get a start in the near future. Hopefully we can get a god damn W on Friday.

That is a pretty cool story. Seems like you hear about players doing stuff like that more in the NHL then in any other sport. Seems like so many of the NHL guys are just class acts for the most part. I know that there are some scum bags in the sport, Roy, but for the most part they all seem to be great people who enjoy inert-acting with the fans. Have yet to watch the video since i should be study and not checking out LGW. If i end up in youtube i'm done for the night.

Its about time we get some thug criminal hockey news. Maybe now the sport will become more popular like basketball and football. Their players are always in the news with stories of guys going to jail.

I heard a good one on the radio after the game. Some guy called in and claimed that one of refs was trying to fix the game. He claimed that the ref had some 30 grand on the game and that is why the goal was disallowed. I'm going to go with this one and pretend that Homer doesn't get screwed by phantom calls from time to time.

Glad to hear that they caught it early and they are feeling positive about the outcome. Hope everything goes well and he is back in the both ASAP.

God I love Downey!!! I really hope that he is in line up for us during the playoffs. I still think that we need him to be out there to make sure that we have a guy that will protect our star players. Keep it up Downey!!

Wow that is just awful. That poor guy, i really hope that everythign is gong to be OK. I would assume that he is going to be fine, i hope that he is able to continue playing this year and continue on with his career. Get well soon.
