I totally agree with you on this one. I brought it up a couple of weeks ago and i would say it was pretty much a 50/50 split. I think that it would be pretty sweet to see this game become a little bit more competitive. I guess you could even find one big sponsor or maybe a couple of them that would want to put some money in a purse for the two teams to fight over. Winner could take all and split it evenly.

I would have to agree, after watching the video over and over, it does appear to be worth of an Oscar. He did a nice job of diving on that hit. I hope that the NHL really takes a good long look at this "hit." It doesn't deserve any further penalty to George.

I have to say that i'm not fan of the new fatest skater comp. I liked the old especialy since you would have been able to compare them to skaters in the past. I will watch because i love hockey and if it is on i'm going to watch.

not a fan of this proposed move. He is still a talented player but is not able to stay healthy. Why throw money at him, watch him play a handful of games and then have to see his name on the injured list? Doesn't seem like a smart move to me.

Yeah i don't see him finding out that he is not playing and just being OK with it. I feel like they probably have to chain him up in the locker room to keep him from dressing and heading out on to the ice. Also mad props to him and Haskek last night. What a great move stopping to sign some autographs and even cooler that Dom gave up his stick.

I agree that we need to hang on to Kronner. He is playing the best he has since coming to Detroit. He is showing a lot of potential and i think that he will be more then capable of filling Lidstrom's shoes once he retires. I would love to see us win a cup without any rental players. I hate the whole idea of rental players. I think that it is a shame that this practice is still alive today. Realistically, we will end up with at least one rental player. I hope that who ever we get helps us win the cup and then that player decides to stay in Detroit.

I hate versus. They suck and i don't even get the channel unless i upgrade to the digital package. And of course i'm to cheap to do that.

Great move for them. I would have tired to talk him into a performanced laced deal. He is playing great but they still don't know how he is going be at the end of the season. He has not been a full time starter before. Hope he can keep up the good play.

So at this point i'm assuming that he broke his ankle. I have not read anything that confirms or denies and i have not searched to far. I'm not a sid the kid fan but i feel for him. Glad that Malkin is getting the chance to go. I hope that the ASG is good one without Sid and that the world sees what a great sport it is. IF they want offense well they should get a chance to see some.

That really sucks that Z will miss his second All-Star game. I was looking forward to seeing him out there with the rest of the Wings on the squad. I was really hoping that we had heard the last of his back for this year. It's really starting to worry me that it continues to bother him. Backs are so damn tricky and it never seems to have all the great of an ending. I really hope that this problem can be taken care of really soon and with out him having to go under the knife. There must be some kind of exercise or therapy that he could to help improve it. Then again i'm sure he is already doing all that stuff.

I think that they are a team on the move. They really seem to have turned there crap around since firing their coach. The team has some very gifted offensive players. AO is more then worth the price of admission alone. Kolzig is still a quality goalie who has some gas in the tank. He could get hot and help get this team to the playoffs and maybe they could even get through a round as well. I'm a big Caps fan, mainly because they have AO. I have been down there the last two falls to go see them play. I hope to be able to continue this tradition. They seem to have grown their fan base over the last year. The fans seem to be excited about this team and i think that all they need is a playoff run to push them over the edge.

Lock up cleary and Babs for sure. Don't care what happens with Lilja. Do you think Lilja is worth anything in terms of trades? I would guess not but you never know right.

He does have a legitmit chance at winning the scoring race. As long as he stays healthy he will be in the top 5. Hell if he stays healthy i really think that he will be number 1. I hope he is able to pull it off and end up with a heart trophy as well. He deserves it in my mind.

1. I think that it is kind of his job to recite random stats like that. And he should be trying to put positive spins on things that are in the favor of the wings when it might not look good for them. Yes some stats are so far out there you wonder why or who it is that is responsible for tracking them but they are pretty interesting for the most part, if you ask me. 2. Ken and Mick rule. They are the best in hockey and we should lucky to have them. Lets not get to picky and just enjoy them while we can. 3. Murphy sucks and i wish that we would never have to see or hear him again. The worse part is that i feel like they are grooming him to take over for Mick once he retires.
