hey i will trade you if you would rather seem them play D twice. I have two seats 10 back directly behind the goal.

I was hoping they would sign me. NOt that i'm that great of a skater, or a even very good handleing the puck. I think i could play in the net and maybe stop 50% of the shots. I'm hoping to get a call so that i can make some money. i don't care if i don't ever see the ice. Hell they could send me down to Grand Rapids for all oi care.

Hudler seemed pretty pissed off about that. Great stuff though, fun to watch.

I hate guys who sit out half a season and then decide that they do want to come back and play. I don't think that the Ducks or any ozganization should allow him back this year. Make him sit the rest of the season and then he could play a full season next year. Pure bushleague crap.

I was all about it untill you had Hudler going. That ruined the fun for me.

You have to wear all the gear. If you are going into enemy teritory you have be sure to let them know who you are behind. On top of it, you will find a ton of wings fans at the game. A lot of Detroit born people are now in Chitown and love coming out to the games to see the wings.

Man that would be great to see. I have always been a big fan of his. Hope that it works out for him and his able to make a return to the NHL.

It's a great place to see the Wing play. We whent back in 05 to the game right before Xmas. The fans were super nice before the game and during most of the game, becasue the Hawks were winning. After we came back from two down and won the game, the fans became evil. We were both weraring our wings jerseys and were told how much we sucked. We had beer thrown at us and a couple of nice gentlemen offered to rearrange my face. I didn't take them up on the offer. Have fun at the game and be ready for all of the detroit sucks chants that the crowd loves to do.

I could see him being a part of an underground fight ring. Don't know why, he just has that look to him. I hope his old lady is not beating the snot out of him after games. I guess maybe i could see that being the case as well. I don't care what it is as long as he able to keep up his current level of play. I love the guy and think that he is a great player who brings a lot to our club. So what ever he is doing just keep it up.

Not a fan of this idea. Yes it would create some scoring chances, but i think you need to give the team with the penalty the chance to ice the puck. IMO, taking this option away from team is just tinkering to much with game. It would allow more chances but could also put tired players out on the ice for longer shifts which could in turn lead to more injuries or even dumb plays that could lead to that team ending up two men down. Not a fan of this idea and i think that they should ignore it.

Never. You don't trade away a Steve Yzerman no matter what. one reason being that you never know what could happen. He could have gone out there and scored 25 points in the playoffs and we could have won another cup. another reason, well he is Steve Yzerman. How do you trade away the face of your team after everything he did. YOu let that man retire as a Red Wing.

First wings game of the new year, can't wait. Time for the boys to get the tone for the rest of the year. I think that we will see a strong offensive output by the boys. My guess is Dats will have 2, hudler, flipper, zetter and downey each will get a goal. Ozzie will have a strong game between the pipes and the Pain Train will do what he does and bring some pain to the stars.

I wonder if the injury has made him try and be a little more careful on the ice. I agree that he doesn't seem be as rough as he was prior to the injury. I'm hoping that he will comeback and play the physical game he is so good at. I think that the Drake-Kop-Dwoney line could become the new Grind Line. Of course we would have to come up with a new nickname for the line.

The trade deadline is Feb. 26 at 3pm this year. I can't see us making any moves this year. I guess unless there is some kind of major injury at some point. Other then that i think that we have a solid team that can perform well in the playoffs.

I can't decide what to do. Hudler has some more assist and has a slightly better +/-. But Flipper has been on a ******* role. Who do you think i should add to my roster. The other issue you have is that i have a bunch of centers including Dats. I would really use a quality winger. Should i just stick with Hudler? Would love some advice on this one.

Man that was a great goal. It really looked like he had a scorers touch on that. He didn't even need to really look at the goal he just lit it rip. I would love to see him do that again.

I just wanted to say that i thought that was a great game today. You had to love the fact that they were getting all of that snow durring warm ups and the first period. I thought that was just so fitting for the outdoor game. After the first period the ice seemed to improve and the game picked up and it was fun to watch. Crosby is a talented player and you got to see just a little bit of that. I love watching the stuff on Buffalo's past on CBC. Just thought it was really cool. I do hope that one day we will get the chance to have one of those here in detroit.

Oh man do i ever remember watching that game. I was in London ONT at my uncles house. I must have been about 12 or so. He was rooting for the Montreal and of course i was pulling for the wings. The best part of that game was watching Roy act like the sissy that he is. He was crying to the GM about how he wanted to traded or what ever the hell it was that he was bitching about. That may have been the game that really got me hooked on being a big time wings fan.
