My two hands are also torn. Left hand, also known as the money hungry one, thinks a new arena would be very nice. Those who want suites probably are not very big fans of being up in the rafters. There are very few stadiums left that ONLY have suites in the rafters. I think that doing some suites in the first level would for sure help out getting some more big money in the stadium. Of course these are the fans that I hate the most but as long as the team is able to make some money then so be it. It also believe that it would be a nice way to draw fans back to the wings. Everyone wants to see a new stadium and hopefully when they come back they can get hooked and the diehard fans will keep coming. The right hand or the faithful one, loves JLA. I when to my first hockey game there against the Canucks. I was up in section 203c row 10 seats 6 and 7. I got hooked on the wings from that day. Its old its gritty and it has so much tradition, both team tradition as well as my personal traditions when I go to the games. I would be very sad to see them move out of that arena but at the same time not all great things can last forever.

I'm so torn right now. 4th for the week but i did it with only 12 correct picks. I don't know how i should be feeling right now.

I don't know if i even want to see the results.

this is turning out to be a great game. I never would have thought that we would have a good physical game like this against the jackets.

Again, Downey is the man!!! Second fight in one game. When is the last time that you can remember a red wing getting into two fights in one game. I love Downey telling the ref not to break up the fight and that they are going to keep it going. He held his own and get his licks in. He is the man. He should be in the lineup everynight. I hope Babs reads this and take the advice. Downey is my new hero!!!

I love Downey!!! I love that he is wiling to drop the gloves and take a punch or two. Not a great fight but i'm hoping that this will be a tell tale sign of what this game is goign to offer. I think the wings could use a good fight to get them going again.

this blows. Last year i held my own but this year i cant seem to pick a winner to save my life. Last week i acctually tried to do my homework on the games. Well that didn't work out to well for me. I was at the Caps game this past weekend. I can say that i didn't notice anything above average out of Fleischman. He didn't do anything to make him stick out as a bad player but yet he didn't do anything make you notice him on the ice. I was not impressed.

There are some things that you just dont mess with. The size of then net is one of those things in my opinion. What is next, maybe we can have the players ues larger blades so that they dont miss the puck so much on one timers. Or we start using a larger puck or maybe not even use a puck anymore. Instead they could use a giant ball that would be eaiser for the goalie to see and eaiser to make hit with those over sized sticks. I really hope that they don't increase the size of the nets.

Not a huge fan. I think that the logo looks kind of cheap and not really all that impressive. Why can't they go back to the old school orange and black jerseys. Those were the best all-star jersey that i can remeber.

16 Games. Z is the man. I was starting to get worried that he would not get a point and he comes through in the clutch. This is a great game and Detroit is proving that they are the best in the central again. Congrats Z

I think that white looks the best and we always use to wear white for our home games in the past. I wish we still did wear white at home. Either way you cut Detroit has the best jersey in the NHL.

I love the old school jersey idea. I wish that more teams would pull out vintage sweaters more often. Maybe do it with the original six when they meet. I would have to imagine that the NHL is pulling for the outdoor game based on the the EDM and MON game from a few years. That whent pretty well. I think tha they should change the date of the game since you will be going head to with bowl games.

OK of course i would rather that he is comfortable and playiing at the top of his game. I guess i should have added into my prior post, if the world was perfect and i could change some things i would love to see some of the cool masks that Ozzie owns.

I have to say that i'm pretty sure that all goalie pads are legal. My questions is why can't detroit get a goalie with a cool mask. I wish that Ozzie would dust off one of the many cool mask that he has and start to wear it. I'm sick of seeing him wear that pee-wee hockey helmet in the goal.

I think that these guys are gong to be fine. I think that the first period of Wednesdays game will be a little sloppy but that they will pick up were they left off by the second period. These guys really seem to be enjoying the game again. I have not seen this team so happy to be on the ice in some time.

They must be so happy that they put all that money into developing the new sweater and now they are finding out they suck. Great move again Garry.

I think that Dom gets it back when he is ready to play and i'm fine with that. Maybe we go back to the 96-97 style when Ozzie got the regular season starts and then we instert a rested healthy Dom in the playoffs. I'm so happy for Ozzie and i'm enjoying watching him play. I hope that he keeps up his game. I think he and Dom are pushing each other to be better and now Dom has some big skates to fill in the crease.

Man have they been fun to watch. The scary part is that still not all of goal scorers have steped up yet. We are playing fast and with passion it seems. I just hope we can keep this style of play up and build on it in the playoffs. Z is playing out of his mind as well and i pry that he keeps on this amazin pace all season.
