Sabers gave up two of their top players? Really is this happneing? Very suprised right now, never thought that would happen. I thought for sure they would have kept one of them. Look out for the Rangers.

I agree. i will be sad to see him go, if he does go. I think that he is a great player who if given the shot could be a big time star in the NHL. Hope he stays but I will get over it if he does.

This is a big suprise to me. Why Philly? Does he think that he can turn them into a contender with a little help? I would rather retire then play in Philly. Very strange.

Too many years and too many dollars spent here. I would have rather seen us get Schnider for one year at 6million. Oh well i will try and hold my judgment untill i see him play for the wings.

What a shame. I didn't think that he would be back in detroit. I"m most upset with the fact that he whent to the Ducks. What a shame that is. I guess good move for him, go were the money is but god damn why the ducks. Would have rather seen him go east then west. I will miss him. He was a great player for us.

I hate these. They should go back to the old purple and yellow jersey with the crown on the front or the black and silver ones. I hate the purple and i hate the Los Angeles on the bottom.

Crappy teams or not. He ony had one good season when he was a rookie and has never really impressed me since then. I think that he might be a bit of a head case and i don't think he would be worth trading for. Bring back Hasek and Osgood for one more year. See how Jimmy Howard does and hope he is ready to go by the following season.

This could be cool. I bet the prices will be through the roof but you never know untill you go atleast once. Have they done this the last couple of years? IT is the first time i have heard of the wings doing anything like this.

He is a dirt bag and i hope that someday someone pays him back for all cheap BS that he has pulled.

Due to his nack for getting hurt i wouldn't cry about seeing him go. I do agree that i don't think we would get much for him. Maybe Kenny needs to rework his contract so that we only pay him if he plays. I know that this would never happen but i hate the fact that we gave him a decent chunk of change he has hardly played in the playoffs for us.

HMMMM.... Yes i want him back if he is going to be the Bert of old. I was a little bummed out by the way that he played in the playoffs but i know that alot of that was due to him not being 100%. So i guess my answer is yes.

The wings jersey on this site is not terrible. I wouldn't mind seeing it as third jersey at the most. The caps jersey is awsome. I love that one and the stars jersey as well.

If not more. the all star jersey was over $400 for a authentic with name and numbers on it.

Howard will be good but lets give him another couple of years before he takes over the starting role. Bring back Dom as long as he doesn't decide to hang them up.

Lets start by losing a couple of guys. In my mind i would like to see us part ways with Samuelson and Lang. Bert, well i still have not made up my mind on him. I know that he was probably never 100% but i still feel like he might have let us down a little bit in the playoffs. I wouldn't lose any sleep if he didn't come back. I think Kronwall is a great player but i'm sick of him being on the IR list. I wouldn't be upset if he was traded. Make sure we bring back Dom, maybe Chelios should pull a roger clemens and what untill after the season starts before he starts playing again. I love Schneider and want him back but i hope that he is willing to take a little less money for next season. I think that if we had him the last couple of games we would have been much better off. AS for additions to the team. I would love to see Shanahan back but i know that will never happen and it is probably better for the team. I would like to get a guy like Drury or Smyth. I would also enjoy seeing us get Gomez.

If i remember correctly he did make an all-star game. That makes think that he was acctually able to play with some skill. 1987-88 he had 62 points, which was tied for third on the team and he was on the all star roster. After that he got busted for crack and he didn't perform as well on the ice. Everyone has their issues in life. He did end up turning into a fighter but he was capable of playing hockey with a pretty high level of skill.

What is the source of your info? If he has a broken hand why wouldn't they dress Hudler instead? He has played very well in the playoffs when he gets his chances. So why wouldn't they dress him over Calder with a broken hand?

Shanny is the man IMO. But i realized that once he left last year that he woudl never be coming back to detroit. I'm happy that it appears he is going to play one more year and i think that it's great that he had a good season in NY and he likes it there enough to stick around for another year. Why be mad at him? I think that he was a very LARGE part of our last three cups. We should all feel pretty fortunate that we had the pleasure of watchign him play for as long as we did.
