I have somthing else that is going to keep me busy when i should be doing school work.

This just makes me angry. Who the hell do these guys think they are? Yes a couple of years ago they got the best of us. This is a new year and we are not the same team. We are a better, faster, stronger, tougher and younger team that still has guys who konws what it takes to win the cup. IMO, Hasek only plays better this time of the year. I think that he has gotten better as the season has gone on and he will be ready to play and will be at the top of his game. I can't wait for game one to be played. Detroit will be on fire. They will protect home ice advantage and will play a tough seris. Calder will be all over the place hitting. Markov will get under the skin of Jerome. Homer will drive Kipper crazy and get some nice tip in goals. Dats is going to go out there and skate circles around those guys. He is going to show why we gave him that big contract and prove his worth in the playoffs. Ok i'm going to stop for now and try to relax. I could go on forever on how i see game one going. I hope that the comments the Fags had will motivate this team. I hope that Chelios heard what Hull had to say and proves to him and Cherry that they don't know what they are talking about. Kick their buts boys!!!!!! If they run him then we better have his back and beat the tar out of who ever did it. Lillja could earn some respect from me if he were to drop the gloves and use his size and strength to his advantage and try to intimidate those Flammers. Just drop the puck allready and lets get it on!!!!!

So i'm now done shaving untill after the playoffs. I will grow a very ugly patchy beard but it's for the good of the team, right?!?!?! My one question is this, are you allowed to at least trim the beard and make sure that its kinda clean on the neck. Please advise.

I think the Gordie statue and a Stevie Y statue, of him lifting the cup, should be right out front of the new arena. Can't wait to see it on sunday.

Great news. I can't wait for the drop of the puck. I'm gonig to have leave class early to catch the game but finals are not for two weeks so who cares. I love playoff hockey!!!!

Well i'm happy with 9th over all!!!! Congrats Ausie Wing and thank you for doing all the work this season on the game. Can't wait till next season.

not thrilled on the amount. I'm glad he is back. I really thought that Kenny was trying to get this done before the playoffs to try and save him self some cash on the deal. I guess he was just trying to get it done to get it done. Hopefully this will make dats bust his ass in the playoffs rather then make him hide since he now has a long term deal done.

I hope they get it wrapped up before the playoffs. If he doesn't perform then i think that we would be to move him in the summer, which i would rather not see, or use him at next years trade deadline. I do think that he is going to have a great playoff this year.

i always thought that he was great and then i got a chance to watch him play live. All this did was make realize that he is the best two way player in hockey, IMO. He hits, plays D, skates, can make feeds without looking, score and did i mention he hits. The most impressive part was watching and seeing just how much he seemed to enjoy every shift. I love watching the kid and i hope that one day he becomes a Wing, yes i know its a pipe dream.

I would have to think that he is coming back almost for sure. He looks very happy out on the ice and seems to be fitting in with the team on the ice. The fans love him. They cheer for him anytime he hits, scores or rushes the net. He has also mentioned that it is nice to be so close to home now. Home being down the 401 in Canada just don't remember the city. I see Kenny making this one happen.

You are a lucky man. Every time i have ran into him i either trip over my words and sound like i should be on short bus or the first time i ran into him we were both taking a leak at a local watering hole and i'm not about to try and start a conversation at that time.

I hate to say it, but he is done. I wouldn't be suprised to see him not dressed for a few playoff games.

I would like us to play either Dallas or Minnesota. Please try and keep us away from calgary and if at all possible i would like to keep away from San Jose.

I have learned over the years that Brett just likes to run his mouth a little to much. Could this be inside info and pretty legit, sure. Do i really buy into what Brett has to say, not really. I think that as long as Pavel has a good playoff this year that he will be a Red Wing aging next year. He will get a decent contract and should get a multiple years. just my thoughts

my favorite part is Avery being the most hated and overated player in the leauge. The article that goes with this in The Hockey News has an interview with him and he gets ticked about being named most overated.

if the games stay as they are i'm looking at 18 of 24 this weekend. I can live with that.

Oh yeah and there is that part in the article about Lidstron being out with a lower back strain. What the hell is going on?!?!?!?!?!?!
