I"m glad that it appears that he is coming back to play. Like i have said before, i think that he still has some goals left in him and i think that he can be a good vetran in the locker room. He has seen almost all you can on the ice and i think that his experiences can be passed on to younger players and that it will help to motivate the young guys down the strech. I also give him a little bit of credit for not signing the first deal that came his way and thinking about his family. I don't think that you see to many pro athletes that think about moving to another team and uprooting his family. He knows he doesn't have to many years left in him and he signed with a team that would allow him and his family to stay in NY. I think that is pretty cool. Can't wait to see him in action again and now i must consider getting a Shanny Devils jersey. I would love to find one that matches what they wore during his rookie season.

I agree with everything you said. It seems almost like he is a point in his career where is just enjoying everything a little bit more then when he first came into the league.

I like how it seemed as though Crosby never let go of the jersey when trying to punch his shoulder pad. As for the guy that said he fights like a girl, well i have seen alot of girls that put up a much better fight then that. One more reason for me to hate this kid.

Yes i do watch games and i make sure to watch the Caps when i ever i get the chance. I don't see AO going out and trying to play dirty. He plays on the edge which is why he is so much fun to watch and is also what makes him such a great a player. i don't think that AO tries to hurt anyone and when he does he is the first to step up and say he did something wrong. When was the last time that Pronger ever admitted that he was in the wrong? I don't see AO getting into to a fight with Malkin's agent having anything to do with how AO plays on the ice. I'm sure that are a ton of players that have off ice issues that play the game well and are not dirty. Once again i don't think that AO's hit was a cheap shot. He plays the game hard. He didn't go out and try to hurt Howard. Harold, thanks for the support on my previous post.

I don't see this as a dirty hit or a cheap shot by AO. If this was a player who had a history of cheap shots, tootoo, Pronger and so on, then yes i would call this a cheap shot. AO doesn't have a history of doing stuff like this. He plays hard all the time and does what ever it takes to win. I don't think that he goes out and tries to hurt anyone. I think that this was a case of wrong place at the wrong time. I hope that the injured player ends up being OK and i really hope that AO doesn't get suspended.

My heart says Mule but my brain keeps telling me to wait and see. Hossa is a great player and so much fun to watch on the ice. You just never know what he is going to do next. Mule is just a great power forward who is also fun to watch but for different reasons. He can score and play a great physical game. Not to flashy but he gets the job done. I just don't know but i can see Mule being the better player for the long haul.

The boys looked great tonight. It was awesome to see them dominate a game like they use to. Even better was seeing them do it without Nick in the lineup. Conks played great and i hope that this was a turning point for him in the nets. The D finally looked like the D we have been so use to in the last several seasons. All around great game. I can't wait for the classic. Tonight got a little chipy at times and i hope to see this rivalry really take off like the good old days.

I don't really buy into the steroid thing in this case. I feel like the KHL is trying to cover up for not having the proper the medical staff on hand. I think that this is an attempt to try and make the KHL look like they are not at fault.

That i do!!! I was at the game three years ago in Chicago two days before Xmas. The wings were down 2 to 0 and scored two goals with less then 2 min to go in the game (i think that was the time) and then scored with less then a second in OT. One of the best games ever. TPBM hates basketball

I think that he will be playing soon. There are some teams out there that need a good veteran leader in the locker room. Plus i still think that he can contribute. According to NHL 09, the Penguins will sign him. At least in my Dynasty mode.

I hope that he signs somewhere soon. I still think that he can help out a lot of clubs and i'm still a big fan of his.

Yeah i can't agree with you on this one. TPBM thinks that Murphy has been hitting the sauce before going on the air. He has seemed a little to out of it the last couple of nights.

Ty's pads are pretty sweet. However i agree with Nugget that all goalies should be kicking the plain brown leather pads like in the picture. I know that Carey Price will be wearing something similar to these when the Habs wear the throwback jerseys.
