I never said they would be getting 6 million, I know they will be getting more then that. MrBest7 stated that on page one that we can sign them for that. I also assume you mean you would give 3 firsts for Weber, not Suter.

I don't think I would say he is "a lot like" Stuart. They both play a somewhat different style game in my opinion.

Alright, I am going to give you two responses here... One really short summed up response, and another with more text. Response One: You are off your rocker! Response Two: There is no way in hell that Holland is going to throw an offer sheet at Weber for 8.5million and give up three first round picks. That is crazy, and absolutely stupid. Yes Weber is good but to make a move like that is beyond awful. Why do you think it has ever been done before? Also, do you have a crystal ball? Thinking that 6 million for Suter and then Parise on long term contracts just guarantee the wings got both of them guys in the bag? I think you need to hop of that cloud you are on and come back down to Earth. Last but not least what is up with that laundry list you made? If those are justifications on why were getting Weber, Suter, and Parise then its like comparing apples to oranges. Those facts have nothing to do what so ever with acquiring those players. Weber will not be a wing this season, Holland will no way throw an offer sheet at him. I say we have a 50-60% chance to sign Suter and Parise but your assumption they we got them is just asinine. Oh yeah, and one more thing, Suter and Parise are NOT best friends. They might be labeled as "friends" but to say they are best friends and are going to sign together is a little far fetched. No guarantees of that either. I wouldn't bank to much on if you sign one you got the other.

Well if this score stands it looks as if they might be heading home to close it out, or back to Jersey for game 7. If it goes back to Jersey, go Devils! I wanted them all along, Brodeur is my all time favorite goalie so I'd love to see him win. After being down 3-0 I figured it was all but over. Anyways if the Kings must win, hope it comes in game 6 then.

See my issue with anything pizza related is that in Michigan probably ten years back or so there was a place called Little Caesar's Caesar Land/Palace or something like that. It was a place for kids to play, kind of like a discovery zone or Chucky Cheese or what have you. So if they named it something along those lines that is all I would think of.

Damnit, the season isn't anywhere close yet and I miss Lidstrom. Ugh this sucks!

If the Kings end up winning the cup (which I am sure they will) I would like it to be in LA actually. Winning the cup on home ice is just a million times better, having your fans there going crazy. If the Devils can pull a miracle they would obviously be winning on home ice as well.

I have a few things I would like to see carry over, but I agree with you here. I love the fact its not named after some fortune 500 company or some bulls***. I think naming an arena should be dedicated to someone or something that has meaning to the city or team or what not. "Without further ado Mike Illitch and co. are happy to anounce the Detroit Red Wings will be now be playing in a new home; I present you AMWAY ARENA!!!" TOTAL FAIL, I can see it now... :thumbdown:

I was expecting steeper prices too; regardless the cost still sucks. I hope I can land a few. Being part of such a rare and special even at the big house would be awesome!

I disagree with you as well. It all depends on the position too. Defensemen usually hit their primes later then forwards. Of course there is always exceptions, like very high end draft picks, but that is for all positions. But if you look at/take your average player they usually hit there primes later on. Defensemen I would say its usually 28-34 is the "prime" of their careers. Forwards usually a little earlier, maybe 25-31. Again this isn't in black and white but to say 25 then they decline is a little harsh; star players or not. Then goalies are even different. For them the age is higher as well I would even push the age further there, say 30-36. Hell, a lot of players don't even get a legit chance until 24-26 years of age. EDIT: Also, with my age ranges is the "prime" of their careers. Years after doesn't technically mean they are done or aren't productive. The age range given is just when they tend to play their best hockey. Many players, especially nowadays exceed that age and continue to play and produce at a older age.

Talk about a bad break, and a s***TY way to lose a game. I think that goal is the one that officially broke the donkey's back. Talk about adding salt in the wound too with that offsides call. Ouch.

What if the series went 7 games, and Brodeur shut out the Kings 4 straight games. I think that would make him the winner. (I know that'd never happen) My point is I doubt that it is decided after only playing 3 games. There could be some crazy turn of evens in games after that.

You don't say that! Seriously though, it will break loose. I hope the don't re-sign. I would LOVE to have Parise in a wings uniform. But I am very optimistic on signing either one. Its like your evil conscious and good conscious. One side of me says "hey no worries, we're the wings, with a lot of money and we got this!" The other half says "Dude face it, there are plenty of hungry teams that want these guys, we have a slim chance!"

The Jets are 1 year deep in as a team back in the NHL; That said I doubt they trade/let go Kane... A team like the Jets need a guy like him to keep fans interested. That and the guys got talent, they aren't going to let him go or not match any type of offer. And to whomever said they wouldn't match 6 million well simply put, you are on crack. The will match that, they will match anything that is realistic. 6 million is realistic therefore if another club offered that the Jets would match it.

Watched the third installment the other night. The 3rd one takes place in Vegas; those movies are wild! But anyways, RIP. So sad to see someone that young pass away.

I wouldn't mind him. I haven't seen to much of his play, but owning him on my fantasy team and somewhat paying attention to him and following him, he seems decent. Definitely an offensive minded guy in my opinion but as long as we could nab Suter as well Garrison would be a solid fit! Source?
