Would've been nice if they helped out earlier in the series. Helm and Flip were going in the first round but come SJ they were just invisible for the most part of the series. They had one good game each and that was about it.

The Wings were missing Flips presences on the second line big time. It wasn't until the 3rd period that Z kicked it up a notch to compensate for Flip being out. Overall a bleh game.

If Quick had more scoring support I think his name would be in the mix as well. He has a wee bit better saver percentage than Howard but faced 106 more shots in the same amount of games played.

Flip is in his prime... he is 27 and will be 28 in March. They won't trade Flip because Z isn't scoring that many goals now a days and we need the goals that Flip has produced.

Looks about the same same to me, so I don't think a 3 point system is the answer.

He should've used his own advice by not thinking he wants to be a coach but actually be a coach. If all you have to do is use the f bomb a few times I think even I can become a NHL coach. At 3:37 that's rage. Short, emotional, and by being short has more weight to it than sitting there for a minute while someone yells at you sounding like a scared child themselves.

That's because the Wings like their prospects over-ripen before they make the jump to the NHL. Are we know for reviving young players careers or help revive players that have matured after some time in the NHL? I think it's the latter of the two. This guy seems like he needs more time to mature and spending $1.4M a season for him to do that doesn't make sense IMO.

I have no doubt that someone will take a run at him.

Nice to see one of our superstars step up and lead this team to victory.

He has looked average... on some plays he looked lost. Z and D are no shows tonight.

At this point put Abby, Helm, and Eaves all out there while on the PP. I would rather see their crash the net style instead of this weak passing no movement PP we been icing.

These are the games in which Detroit needs Datsyuk and Z to step up. We cannot continue to be carried by our streaky 2nd liners. It's sad to see Mule 1st on the team with 9 goals and then to see the next top forwards in goal scoring only having 3. It's message sending time for the two top stars.

If the Oilers and Leafs get into the playoffs that's when I think they will run into experience issues. It's one thing to get into the playoffs, it's another to go deep into the playoffs. But considering the recent cup wins of Pens and Hawks it can be done.
