Booth played for Flordia which isn't exactly the powerhouse that Canucks are. A downside I see is Booth's playoff experience. Sammy has some timely goals in the playoffs. With Booth, who knows how he'll produce come playoffs.

Stuart has his ups and downs. His up is currently way above E and his downs are on par with E's downs. The defense in general was horrible last year. E had a pretty nasty turnover that nearly cost us a goal. Thank god Howard was there to save his bacon.

Players started to embellish last year. All that does is make the refs jobs even harder for them to do.

Why leave a line together if they are having a bad night? That makes no sense to me to have lines that are not clicking stay together for the night. Mix them up and get something going. Bowman use to do this all the time as well as who ever was playing the best on game day got more ice time. If players play the system there should be no issues with line juggling.

Gonchar should be embarrassed with his play on the Bert goal. He just didn't even try to make an effort to at least rush back. Anderson was horrible as well. Stuart fudged up big time by trying to do Kronwall's job on the second goal. He was puck chasing and completely left his man alone even though the guy carrying the puck was Kronwall's man. I don't know wtf E was thinking on that 3rd goal. He didn't even try to move his man... he just stood there with him creating an even better screen for the Sens. E owes Jimmy a lunch for that goal allowed.

Is the hitting in the Bruins vs Flyers game any good? In the MTL vs TOR game there was a few good chances for some hard hits that people seemed to miss on purpose. Grapes picked up on this as well and started to talk about how we can see that from now on in the game.

I disagree with that. Bruno looked like he started to stop skating in the 2nd and in the 3rd he didn't look like he was moving at all.

The ones in which Jimmy carried the team. Bruno looked pretty gassed out there in the 3rd.

Looked like he didn't have good position anyway. 3rd goal Kronwall f***ed up bad with a turnover behind the net. Jimmy should of had it as it trickled in on him, he just didn't squeeze hard enough. 4th goal Another turnover behind the net but this time on Lidstrom. Not much Jimmy can do on that. Besides that 3rd goal you can't really blame Howard. Pretty slick move on Nyquist part for his goal. He completely deked the guy defending him in the corner, Datsyukian like.

No, he made $1.5 in 09-10 and salary cap wise is currently at $1.9 for last year and this year. Bert had to step up in 09-10 with all the injuries but he didn't take over. Even during the time he had at the top he didn't produce at a special rate. When I think of the inconsistent play of the Wings these past two years Bert stands out as one of the players that is inconsistent. But he has had to be bumped up in depth the past two years because of the injuries. Berts role on this team should be a 3rd liner but the team has not been healthy these past two seasons to keep him in that role.
