TSN reports: So 6 years left on his 35+ contract for $4.9M per year. I'm no doctor but that sounds like a really bad surgery to have at this stage of his career.

That would be my guess as a possible loop hole around it, but the owner would still have to actually pay him his salary.

If it wasn't for Kesler this series would be over already in Nash favor. Also I laughed my ass off when the Green Men had that cut out of Carrie Underwood for Fisher. That was awesome!!!

Can the Wings win this series? Nope. Why? Depth is way to inconsistent, and it has shown all year long. We had two "turning it around games" this season and while we looked good for a game or two after those games, we went back to s***ty play soon after.

I would rather get swept. Going one more game will make it look like the Wings just had "bad luck" and don't need to do much to make things right next season. -

The leadership has show up to play and carrying this team enough to be able to be competitive in the games. It's our 3rd thru 8th forward spot along with most of the defense that has played like they don't want to win. -

Yep Draper played a good game, he got Helm to play better it seemed and they got results. It is astonishing that the Wings have to rely on the efforts of Datsyuk, Zetterberg and the 4th line so much in order to stay in these games. I think Cleary, Mule, Bert, Flip, Hudler, Abby, and Homer have already given up.
