Wings need to get going. The way they are playing now it's like they want SJ to score to go into OT.

I know they say to never pick your poison but I would rather Detroit play Nashville. Rinne hasn't been great and the short travel will be better IMO. The only downside will be TooToo running around out there.

Keep playing with fire you're gonna get burned. Wings cannot allow the opposition to gain momentum down the stretch of a game and be expected to hold them off every single time. Eventually they will lose a game like that which can swing momentum in a series.

I agree with the OPs positives. For the negatives add to the fact that we kept letting PHX into the games down the stretch of each game. We allowed them to score a lot of goals in the 3rd period of each game in the series to make the game closer than it should have been.

Good job Wings but for the love of god work on the PK during this down time. The deeper we go the more special teams come into play.

Considering that we are getting scoring from our entire lineup right now stacking our top line is not an issue. Again this would be a test to make sure his knee isn't bothering him to the point that he would be ineffective as a center of his own line. Let him get at least a period out there and see how it goes. If he does well then you can easily break them apart as Babs should know the good line combos by now. The PK has been horrible so I wouldn't say anyone on the PK has been good. Dats looked gas at times. Also some of his passes were horrible tonight.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Z-D-Mule line to start a game and separate them (move Z to center his own line) if it doesn't work out. That way Z can smoothly test out the sprain knee in a game environment. Everything thing else I would leave alone as the lines have been affective. As for the person who will sit I say Draper... Miller has outplayed him by a good margin IMO.

Should be the series IMO. There was nothing but intent to do it and players are not dumb, they know it can severely injure someone doing that. If the reason for him not getting more than 2 was the receiving player didn't get injured that just stupid. So you can be dirty but as long as you don't put someone in the hospital your suspension will be light, what a ******* joke.

Wings started off good but started to sit back at the start of the 3rd. Don't let up Wings, keep pressing until the game is over.

Does Ryan get suspended for his stomp? EDIT: Really how many games will he get? Looking at it again he knew what he was doing and being as that was his intent I say 10 games.

I seen 1 good period the 2nd was OK at best. You see it the way you see it I see it the way I see it. Again I am very disappointed with Flip along with Mule.

Flip hasn't done anything with Mo... really nobody has done anything with Mo. Flip needs to wake up and start playing like he means it along with Mule. Scratching Hudler was dumb IMO as he was trying at least while Bert is allowed to not give a damn and be in the lineup.

Please don't even start to blame the refs. Most of this team looks like they don't even give a s*** about playing hard and competitive hockey. After getting embarrassed you would think they would care about playing better for longer than 2 games but tonight they have a case of the "f*** its." Pathetic.

Too bad that Z went out as Z and D were dominating out there before he left the game. Now it looks like Dats has to do it by himself. I am still waiting for Flip to step it up along with Mule. Our 4th line looks better than our 2nd and 3rd.

Someone give Flip some tampons. This guy just does not want to muck it up in the corners when needed.

After thinking more about this game I am really disappointed with Flips play today along with Mules and a few others. Those two just stood out to me because of how important they are to the team in order for us to go far. Mule was a little bit physical but only a couple of times I remember him putting some power into his skating stride. Other than that he pretty much just coasted with a couple of decent shots off which is the only thing he is relying on. Flip was skating but not physical. There was about 3 or 4 times today that he chased a puck down in the corners but did not put the body on the Preds defensmen and they were able to make a quick pass out of trouble. It just seemed like he could not pick up the level of his play today compared to how Helm, Abby, Draper, Eaves, even Hudler did. Going back to Hudler even he was playing hard along the boards today. Getting physical, mucking it up, getting knocked down and going right back into the corners. He might not of gotten a point today but he had a good game in that he competed for the puck damn near every single time he was on the ice.

Let's see how they play tomorrow.

It's good to see the Wings come down from that emotional high but the damage was done. Z's and Helm's lines along with Abby are the only ones actually playing like they want to win. Mule is floating out there, Bert isn't doing crap besides fighting, Homer is making bad passing plays, Mo is giving it his half assed game again, E making durp plays. Babs needs to double shift the 4th line and mix Abby with Z.

Wings playing over aggressive and it's back firing. The no goal call was legit Their goal was legit Wings need to lower their emotions just a little bit so it doesn't get the better of them which it currently is IMO.
