OT and Ozzie don't mesh well. I thought the same thing (we will lose) once it went into OT. Going side to side has never been one of Ozzie's strong points and you can expect plays like that during OT. EDIT: That goal reminded me of Deadmarsh's OT series clinching goal years back. Except this time Ozzie didn't have his legs in the air.

You cannot compare how Draper was injured and how Mo was injured. Turtle knew what he was doing while Snot had no idea and couldn't really control himself.

LOL I remember that. Teams were getting pissed because we did not dress some of the older players/regulars down the stretch. They thought we did it on purpose to mess with the standings.

I think the biggest thing is getting pucks to the net quicker. What I mean by that is that we are trying to get rebounds off these bombs from the points which are mostly being blocked or deflected. I would like to see us use wrist shoots more often and aim for the goalies pads instead of his chest. Another thing I see are soft floating slow passes that get picked off and what is funny about that it is usually guys like Datsyuk that do it. Passes should be crisp, accurate, and just enough zip on them so the defenders cannot reach it with a stretched out stick. At the beginning of the year Mo really got on my nerves with his floating on the point of the PP and he still does it. When the puck gets cleared I notice he usually just looks at the bench and signals for his replacement to go chase it. I get really pissed when I see him do that. You can usually tell when the team is frustrated with the PP, that's when they start to shoot it in then not chase it down.

I think he looks at it as if we maintain that we will be in for a 120+ pt season other teams around 100+ points. The way I look at it is we are still only 6pts away from being 13th... still to close to the rest of the pack. I'm sure that's how Babs looks at it as well.

Yep, he got the message once Babs put Hudler on his line and showed him what it means to be worthless. Flip got the message and is playing great now.

Howard looked terrible as well during his time in the AHL. A bright spot every now and then but most people gave up on him.

Tricky tricky Wings, I almost didn't realize this was a 5PM game. I want Z and D to lead us to victory and not in dramatic late fashion, 60 minutes of pure domination. It's time to start putting some distance between us and the rest of the pack.
