I doubt it. This time around we have good depth in the D pipeline even after a few of our players retire. He will end up like Dandenault retired by the age of 34.

Which is just completely dumb. Not only is it a huge story but most people like some sort of drama in their sports. Some type of scandal is great publicity for any major sport. -

With the way he played I think it seems clear that Hudler is not the type of guy that makes his line mates better, it's the other way around.

There was no reason to mess with the 2nd line while it was doing its thing. The only reason Hudler is getting a chance now is because the 2nd line is not producing.

It's not just about midget... its about getting other players going as well. If Hudler was the only one struggling I would expect him to sit. To bad its not 2003...a prime Modano and Bert would of been nice to have as a 3rd line. Keep his hot streak going and place him with Z and D.

The only time I actually seen Smith play was during the preseason and he is not defensively ready for the NHL. I think he was better on offense than Kindl but Kindl is ahead of him overall.
