Fedorov didn't break a record in 94 as Gartner had a time that was better then Fedorov by .015 of a second in 93. If 92 was the first time ever (I cant find times before 92) that the fastest skater was done then Fedorov had the first record as he won that year. Pretty nuts that a 36 year old could hang with the young people.

With how shaky he has been he had better hope he even comes close to that level of play again.

I have not seen Gaborik play this season but I wonder if his injuries slowed him down a little. I'm sure Helm could go around the rink in the 13 second range, which is top league speedster times.

I said it in another thread and I'll say it again here, Ericsson's max potential was what was shown during the 09 playoffs. If he comes even close to that level of play again he could be a solid 4th Dman, repeats his performance from 09 2nd Dman. -
Damn, I remember during the 03-04 season people were calling him to be the next Lidstrom type of player.

With that line up don't expect it. Not saying Ozzie is bad but yeah...expect him to let a few in with that line up. -
So I was watching the replays on TSN and looked at the TB vs Edmonton game. The way that Paajarvi moved I thought I seen a younger version of Fedorov. He split the defense, nice little wrister from the boards, and he wears #91 . I know its just preseason but I was impressed, just wanted to say that.
