Yeah...once the Wings get into the offensive zone they are usually getting stuck on the boards and losing the battles. A couple of times we were able to crash the net but nothing major. We are hitting a little but nothing compared to the intensity Phoenix is putting into their hits. Also some Wings are skating then falling on their asses for no reason.

Detroit cant do s*** once they get it in the O zone. I completely disagree with what Mickey is saying about Detroit doing better.

I am just happy they made it. Getting into the playoffs was a damn good accomplishment with the way the year has been and battling like they did. Even if they lose in the first round I wont be too mad.

I will deny that. He was a good goalie and that was it. For me to call him amazing he should of stopped those goals in game 7. The breakaway goal that is 50/50. Bad D play which turned into a breakaway but Ozzie had bad positioning and looked scared. During the playoffs I didnt see him as the MVP and I questioned why others did. Good yes amazing no EDIT: As for this topic I don't see why you think this is ridiculous. Ozzie had his chance and blew it. Jimmy came in and won the Wings a few games during the height of their injury problems. It would be ridiculous to start Ozzie just for the sake of "find his groove" experiment then starting Jimmy and knowing you are getting better goaltending.

Spot on. Not much cheaper you can go for a potential solid backup. Also given how some young goalies have been the past few years as in hot rookie year s***ty/OK sophomore year.

Its sad to see that in order to get a Selke now a days you have to have some offensive output. What about the guys that can just plan out shut down a top line? I have always viewed the Selke as a role players trophy.
