GO SJ GO!!! Even with 30+ games to go every single point is important. We need SJ to win this game to keep LA close to us. Also the Wings need to muster up a win during this time to actually get into the 8th spot. It might make them play a little harder knowing they have the 8th spot and try not to give it up.

Anaheim is starting to scare me the most. They seem to pick up steam during the second half of the reg season.

I would rather have them find a way to put a camera underneath the ice.

I think its really dumb that we have to lose a player becasue others were injured and could not play. I do hope that Janik stays. He is th exact type of defenseman we need

Does not surprise me. They've been beating on teams to the point were pulling a goalie late in the game won't do anything.

I thought people were bitching on this forum that Ozzie only plays the hard teams. Now I see every one on here posting that he should start.

I bet he gets hurt again.

I say good. It will give him time to rest and if he continues to play how he is then he is gonna need it, as I am sure Babs will play him a lot.

Watch them give it to Halak or Luongo

That and if its hard for him to score in the regular season good luck in the playoffs. I always thought since the Grand Rapids guys were brought up because of injuries they could be sent down no worries?

Man did I love Datsyuk in his rookie season. No one knew of him and the 3 or 4 dekes he use to put on Dmen where crazy. I remember there was one time he put 4 moves on someone in the corner, crazy stuff.

I would have to disagree there. He has let in some bad goals way more then Howard IMO. Almost every other goal that Ozzie gives up there are comments that go along with it to the tune of "He would like to have that one back." As far as getting something going this should not be an issue with Ozzie at this point of his career with half the season played. A few games in Oct fine but in December he should be playing a lot better. Also as you pointed out with the way the team has been playing earlier we needed a hot goalie more then ever. When Ozzie went down with the flu Howard had an opportunity and seized it. Nothing wrong in that.

I would rather save the cap sapce we have for something even better down the line.

I admit I didn't like what I seen and heard about Howard in the AHL. He has proven me wrong so far and thank god.

That save percentage would be a lot higher if he wasn't allowing bad goals. When you know your offense isnt as good as it use to be and with a goalie like Ozzie I'm sorry but he is losing it. Ozzie is the one I voted on.

Not just the scoring part the trying part really.

He still sucks. If he can keep this for for a good solid 20 games or so then I might start thinking otherwise.

This is not last years playoffs or the SCF two years ago this is now. I agree with Babcock that he should ride a hot goalie until his streak comes to an end. The Red Wings, RIGHT NOW, need that with the way they have been playing. To let Ozzie in and try to find a groove with us losing and maybe trying to fight for a playoff birth down the road is not the right choice IMHO.
