I would take Flip currently. He has not even hit his prime which Hossa is in already and there is no telling how long the contract would have to be in order for it to work for the Wings. If Hossa signs at 4 we still save some cap wiggle room by keeping Flip which could come in handy at the trade deadline. The only way I see if trading Flip would help out is if the draft picks or prospects we get are top six capable.

I moved from Detroit to Flagstaff, AZ which is about an hour and a half from phoenix but no one cares about hockey in any of the 2 towns from the feedback I got. Some where interested when Wayne started to coach but thats it. Hell most people did not even know about the playoffs being over or even started. Maybe there might be some bandwagon fans there if they start to do good you never know.

This is the crap i do not understand. How in the hell could Yzerman play on one leg but Pavel can't play with a bad foot. I am sorry but this is the playoffs get your butt out there.

About time someone called out the officals. This playoff year they have been really bad in almost every series played. EDIT: I think its funny that calling out a ref is worth 10k but causing an injury is only 2.5k

I use to work with someone that worked for him at the Fox Theater and he said Illitch was an ahole to work with. I'm sure he is different with players but in a regular work environment he is not a nice boss.

This was in the grind lines prime but I remember a game in which they cycled the puck down low for a minute and a half straight then got a goal. On the next game Mickey was saying how they talked about it on the ride back home for hours.
