Man, there is a big difference in skill between the 1st PPU and the 2nd PPU. The 2nd unit cant even get something going.

That reminds me of the Wings a few seasons back. The 3rd period is when we started to play hockey then win games.

Wasnt Maxim Afinogenov suppose to be a 30+ goal scorer. I mean he has had some good season but his talent makes it seem like he should be better. He is not a real disappointment but more was expected of him.

He coached 2 seasons with Anaheim before coming over to the Wings. So what record did he break?

He is like a young Bowman. With a few more years under his belt any player in the league will do what he says without a second thought. I hope he can continue to make the small players the Red Wings draft play a tough skilled game. As for McCarty. I don't expect to see him play this year.
