i am seriously excited for this kid!! i can already see him beating up on some Av's! let's all hope he makes it to GR and then ultimately to Detroit. i think he is just what this team needs. we have the playmakers and veteran leaders and agitaters we just need a guy that when the opposing team sees him on the ice, they think "oh sh*t, snake is on the ice" that guy people fear and if he can put the puck in the net from time to time, he makes them tremble even more...looking good so far! GO SNAKE GO!

they both seem to be having a good camp. both on a line with Big Snake and all 3 playing well. do any of them get a shot with GR????? i hope Big Snake does, he had a Gordie Howe hat trick in the last game. i have been following the prospects a little more than i ever had, i am really excited about some of the kids we have. especially Filppula and Howard and of course Grigorenko

from what i've been reading, he is really impressing and looks like he has a bright future ( hopefully with the Wings) i do think he needs to atleast start in GR and see how he progresses. if things go well, i have no problems with him in Detroit this season. let's just hope he doesn't crash his car or anything like that!

i'd say do it! i like Datsyuk but if we can't reach a deal with him then trade him for Smyth. i like Smyth's grit over Datsyuk's also,which is what i think the team needs. so Datsyuk for Smyth AND a 1st rounder seems like it would be a no-brainer. i unfortunately don't think this will happen. we'll see

i like Ryan Smyth but i am not sure about trading Zetterberg for him..i think Zetterberg in time will be a better player than Smyth is now. Smyth is tough though.....

i have always been a Fedorov fan, i could only wish he were back in Detroit. I don't see that happening especially with his price tag. Even if he were willing to re-structure or do a new deal with Detroit, whom would we ship out for him?? Datsyuk is we cant sign him?? we would have to ship someone on the payroll back to Anaheim to trip our own to make a little more room for Feds. i just don't see this ever happening. Not to mention like someone else said, Feds burned some bridges on his way out, would management forget that??? who knows? I know i still have 2 Fedorov jerseys hanging in the closet that i have to refer to as "throwbacks".
