Here in Michigan, Burger King is doing a similar promotion with coffee. Free coffee every Friday morning during November. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I know the markup is huge on beverages and it's all about dangling the carrot to get the people in the doors/drive-thru.

I've never been a big basher of Hudler, but he is just too easy to push off the puck and knock on his ass. He may have good hands, but not roofing the puck earlier when he had a chance on the door step is EXPECTED. Definitely not pulling his (light) weight.

I'm not worried that it's tied 3-3. What I am worried about is our goals scored have been fluky/tipped/garbage goals (still counts, I know), but the Blues goals scored have been OUR fault. Not a good sign...

Wings’ Lidstrom Flirts With Perfection Pretty great article. As Red Wings fans, I think we sometimes take it for granted just how damn great Lidstrom is. In the way I revered Steve Yzerman and couldn't fathom him NOT playing, I feel the exact same about Lidstrom. It will be a sad day when he hangs up the skates, but until then, we have to enjoy every moment of his brilliance.
