Where'd the Pink Floyd stuff go? Seasonal change? I was hoping the Floyd stuff would get us through the tough times, like in the playoffs when you would play a certain album.
-
Come on St. Louis, get your s*** together!
-
BOO! Still doesn't change a ******* thing.
-
And for f***'s sake, the Wings just need to stop shooting. Period. No more shots. Just pass it, turn it over, then take the center ice faceoff. 200+ shots vs 100 and we've not scored one ******* goal. Why do the analysts have to ask why they aren't scoring with so many shots? They are logo hunters, with approximately zero ******* screens, taken from absolute s*** angles and telegraphing passes, it doesn't take a ******* genius to figure out why they aren't scoring. And then you have s***ty players with no clue, kids who should still be in the AHL, and you have a recipe for disaster. If they are going to tank the season, they are well on their way. They just need to press a little harder to lose so that Carolina can catch up and we can get a #1 pick.
-
Who are they projecting to be the first and second picks next year? Detroit should just let the rest of the season tank (as if they have a choice, they suck so bad without trying) and get the #1 pick. After this game we will be tied with a better Blues team for the basement spot in the Central. Let's just coast it out from there.

That's game. f*** 'em, they're done.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA another intend to blow, give me a ******* BREAK
-
HAHAHAHAHAHA - Ericsson, you complete me. And you complete a lot of opposition passes into goals. Chris Osgood and Jimmy Howard HATE YOU, Ericsson. THEY HATE YOU.
-
10 bucks says Homer has a mental breakdown just before he retires and goes apes*** on the last goalie to hack and wack him. Total carnage.
-
The NHL referees must have a hand in every Detroit game. They are determined to actually change the outcome. f*** conspiracies, f*** the referees and f*** the NHL. Referees = guys not good enough to actually play, so they want to make their mark by altering games. Big men, real ******* big. ******* ******* pieces of s***.
-
ahahahahahahah waived off, go f*** yourselves you *********** motherf***ers
-

-
Finally the game is on 901 FSN+
-
*sigh* why is it when I tune in to a Wings game its always 1-0 with the other team leading only 1 ******* minute in to the 1st??

The Big Dipper is in the house of Virgo, so tonight Bertuzzi breaks his slump, preventing his stick from entering the face of the nearest defender. Your lucky numbers are: 5, 13, 20, 30, 40, 44.

When I read this, I can't help but use a 1930's radio voice in my head lol, like the old-time reporters.

Get used to it (and I'm saying that with no sarcasm, etc...). Until we have some healthy bodies out there of some substance (Sorry, Meech and Lebda), we are not better than or equal to any playoff bound team, let alone teams in our own division. I'm usually pretty optimistic (again, no sarcasm), but this team "as is" is just not a contender. Maybe 10th best in the West, MAYBE. It's not all doom and gloom, and after the Olympics, we should have most of our long term injured guys back. Perhaps at that point, some teams will be missing as many substantial pieces of the puzzle as we currently are. One thing I find interesting (and perhaps a bit scary) is Babcock's very, very calm demeanor. I mean, I know you got to keep calm and not lose your head, but everytime they interview him, I'm just waiting for him to go bats***, and he very calmly and evenly says "I think we did a great job in the first, just need to keep forechecking, etc..." and even throws a smile in there. Ticking time-bomb? lol

I agree with the article as well. What's amazing is the amount of injuries across the board. Two more goalies (goalies!!) added to the IR recently (TOR Toskala and OTT Leclaire), and injuries to approximately 20% - 25% of the league, putting players out for anything from torn ACL's to broken legs/wrists/etc... Is it just horrific "luck" or an issue with proper training? Hockey is one of the toughest sports on the planet, and we're seeing injuries to vets who know how to take a hit. Are the hits that are injuring these players "dirty"? Overall, no. Are the players getting bigger and faster? I would say "yes", but not in my opinion an overly fast rate. As relating to the article, as a 25+ year fan of the Red Wings (I'm 33, started really following them when I was around 8), I echo the statements in the article, and posted on this forum. Each loss is tough, especially a first round loss when the Wings are a #1 seed, or a Game 7 Cup Final loss. It's weird trying to adjust to the regular season, as the Wings look very mortal. As statistics show, a home PK ranked 13th in the league (81.4%) and a road PK ranked 30th (65.7%, which is a distant 5.4% from the 29th spot). Is it their system? No. Is it the personnel available? Yes. Is it based on injuries to normal penalty killer's? Of course, but to what degree is subjective. As long as the Wings put in a 100% effort, they stand their best chance to win. Thick or thin, injuries or healthy roster, GO WINGS!!!

Exactly, Lids has a strict 1-game per ******** limit.
-
Bad night to be a healthy scratch, eh?
-
Way to go Pavs!
-
f*** Kronwall not returning. Neither should LaSucksCock. Stupid ******* piece of s***. Hey, I can end a guys game/season/career and it only costs us a couple minutes of penalty kill? Sweet. Only in the NHL...
-
That's 1. Good job Stewie!

Referees have no balls whatsoever. Call the ******* 5-minute Intent To Injure and send that f***** to the dressing room.
