Even though Dorsett got knocked silly, it would've been worse if he were about another foot away from the board. I remember watching a show on the Discovery Channel, can't remember the name, "Sports Science" or something, but the concept was about sports and the force that certain actions have. They had a hockey segment, and about 2 feet from the boards was the "danger zone" when being checked, even cleanly. (Now I have Kenny Loggins in my head). Anyways, the extra space gave extra momentum and it rocked the dude like 10 times worse.
