After looking at those pictures, I have to say that any comments about the tips of the wings on the logo being snubbed a bit were false. It looks the same to me. Might just be a replica thing.

Yeah, I never noticed that either until I read it there. I even picked up on a broadcast, here in Cali, that they were using both versions in different logo graphics. Seems like nobody knows which the official one is.

What's more amazing than the fact that the same fake mockup appears on this site about every week is that people actually believe the Wings organization would release such a crude sketch as their "official" jersey. It just baffles me every time I see this same thread.

What was more bizarre than giving assets up for him is that they signed him to a substantial extension before he played one regular season game for them. My take on the situation is that Crawford really likes him on a personal level and most likely made a demand of Lombardi.

I guess my point is that the turtleneck, being a somewhat pompous article of clothing when worn by men (especially a black one), magnifies his prickness. So, in essence you're correct. I disagree. A hot chick in a burlap sack, given that I had no prior knowledge of her, would not appear hot because I wouldn't be able to see other aspects of her that may change my opinion. She could be a porker with a hot face in the burlap sack. So, the impression of her would remain if I never saw her in any other light. And if she did turn out to be a porker, it would most likely have an affect on any other woman I saw in a burlap sack. In Yashin's case, he is the only player who wears a turtleneck, and is indeed a prick. So, the impression is that the turtleneck under the jersey is associated with being a prick. If Yzerman had arrived after Yashin, and joined the turtleneck brigade, it might be assumed that he's a prick too.

Good turtleneck useage: Bad turtleneck useage: It just makes him look like a dillhole.
