Awesome. Thank you! You have no idea how much my day begins by looking at these desktops.
-
Awesome. Hopefully it's be a step in a better direction.

I'm kind of hoping he can channel a new zen-like caged animal when needed.

Couldn't have said it better.

I gotta agree with that. Not to beat a dead horse, but therein lies my frustration with the trade deadline. Once we have Lids and Rafalski and Cheli back...we're still going to be one less sniper from the deadline....because we didn't get one there.

No. Crosby is the most HYPED player in the world. I still believe that Ovechkin is better...but not given the same consideration and supporting cast as Crosby and so it doesn't show. But that's just my opinion.

No problems here...

Man, I'm pumped to have Mac back. Just the excitement alone is going to be crazy to have in the Joe. I don't think he's a savior of any sorts, but maybe he can energize the team a bit and stir things up.

Man, I'd love for Miller to be a Wing...but would Buffalo give up their only remaining franchise player?
-
Yep. Looks that way.

Awesome stuff!

Cool words by Babs. Matter-of-fact without being nasty to Osgood.

Good call on the size thing...too funny. I know that I'm short but wow... It's funny how the tag says "50" on it but it's way larger than my Koho, CCM and Nike on-ice Wings jerseys that are 52s. I didn't realize that about the dye-sublimated being the real deal. Mine has the "reinforced" elbows (don't know what else to call them), now that I look at it.

Cold water, line dry, and I've heard that putting a bit of fabric glue (whatever that is) can help if the threads are fraying.

I own a very similar one. It is a lighter green...and is (supposedly) from his days before the Red Wings. It is all silkscreened (not sewn) and I didn't pay too much for it. I surprisingly got it from a trader in Russian goods...not someone who is specifically focused on hockey. You should be able to find similar ones for about $50.00 on eBay. I wish it had all the lettering and decorations sewn-on...but it's still a pretty cool jersey.

This ginger ale's toasted in your honor. Best wishes, Mick!

Damn right. Well said. I'm still frickin' seething over this...and seeing recaps of the gangbang that Donger and Needledicker pulled on Homer last Playoffs only incensed my rage. But hey...gotta get the broadcast off before the Grammy pre-show, right? (Though I have absolutely nothing to base that on...it did seem the game was tidied up real nice at 6:00 sharp).

Wow. This one blew me away. Crazy. I'd say the Sens got a steal on this one. I'm more surprised that Carolina got rid of two of the most loved players (hell...you could buy a robe with Commie's number on it at any kiosk in the RBC)...something that seems all the more important when interest in the team has diminished since they went from winning the Cup to not making the Playoffs.

Big fan here, too. For all the same reasons.

No, they are. I went to the parade when the Canes won and was amazed at the stupidity. One woman went excited when Cam Ward was holding the Conn Smythe trophy and started yelling "Stanley Cup, Stanley Cup!" Someone else kept referring to it as the Laura (for Lord?) Stanley Cup. The kicker for me was when a friend of mine went to a Canes game and his father stood up to leave after the "Second Half" (apparently he didn't know about the rule of three periods).

What really blows my mind is how often I've heard Heatley's accident mentioned in the press lately...as a scapegoat for Vick's behavior. That just doesn't seem to add up in my book....
-
Does anyone else think the lettering looks strange....like ripped from a glam band's 80s album cover?

"Also interesting is that Nick said he'd be willing to play for under $5000 USD/month. No word yet on the condition of his agent's health after that remark."
