Homer definitely had to be concussed but was cleared to play... Drapes was a totally different player in this round, something might be up there as well... I think Cleary may have an injury too, but he played like a champ anyway... We've already mentioned Zetts, Bert, Calder & Sammy (I think he was another broken bone in hand candidate at one point)... Plus, Kronwall & Schneids. Lang also may have a case of "Lazy & He Sucks"-itis...

My thing is, I just think no matter what happens, no one is going to want to risk it after seeing Jiri go down like that at the Joe. I love the guy and would love to see him on the team again, but I would rather that he lives a long fruitful life. After all is said and done, it's just a game... God bless you Jiri.

The thing that sucks is Dom is always threatening retirement... the guy left us in 2002 only to come back and be a cancer in the locker room. I wish he would just stop the drama and play already... Howard needs to play sometime soon... Ozzie is coming to the end of the road and we can't play the Hasek retire/not retire game every year... time to infuse some youth onto this team!

I'm 50/50 on this... Hasek gives us a way better chance at the Cup next year, but I want to start giving Howard as chance. Holland might end up signing a Netminder if Hasek leaves anyway... who knows. Either way, what a season!

LOL Seriously, many people have already said this, but this team has something about the way they are playing that leads me to believe they will pull it out. Anaheim on the other hand has not looked like a team that deserves to win. As much as the commentators would lead us to believe that JS is the reason for the Duck wins, the truth of the matter is, the Wings have controlled the last three games... they only have 1 win to show for it, but they have dominated the games. This team has what it takes. They will be more focused on burying the opportunities that they are given around the net and Dom will be stronger than ever... trust me, if the Ducks win, they will have worked 10 times harder than they have so far in this series. I STILL believe. GO WINGS GO!!

We've played so well in these games, I just can't see us losing 3 in a row. That being said, throughout our recent history (90's - present) we have made a lot of goalies look like world beaters... we need to get some ugly stuff past this Jiggy fool. If we continue to play like we have been playing, improve on the PP and get a few of the Big Names to step up on the road, we'll see a game 7... I still think these guys have what it takes.

Yes, Ozzie is way better at handling the puck when he's fishing it out of the back of the net... I almost feel like gouging my eyes out after reading all this drivel. You obviously are just here to antagonize and drag people into this pointless thread... sad thing is, we have obliged you. Hasek had one goal that he shouldn't have let in when he played the puck around the net and gave it away, but other than that, it just wasn't his night. He will be great in game 5 guaranteed.

Historically, Hasek will kill in this next game. He always seems to dominate after a tough loss. As much as the goals weren't all his fault, he will be ready to redeem himself because to him, game 4 was a bad performance. If we are learning anything from the Western Conference, it's that all these teams are pretty good. Calgary had it's moments, but SJ and Anaheim are dang good teams. Wings still take this series in 6... game 5 will set us up for a huge win on Tuesday night at the Pond.
