I like Staios but (like the others) would cost something we may not wish to give up. In the new NHL draft picks are more important than ever.

I've seen a few MSU games and he is pretty complete out there -- he has some offense, plays sound D and can play the corners well. We have three (or less) years to bring him in too. Looks like he may end up a good pick after all.

I doubt he makes it here too -- lost his extra gear -- I doubt hudler too, he is a three speed in a ten speed world.

He needs to be signed after next season or he goes back in the draft. They will have to roll the dice here -- even if he stays in junior.

I like McCabe alot -- he can do it all, but he gets hurt too often. Lidstrom had an off year in 03/04 but has been Norris material the last couple months and is healthy as a horse. No way I make that deal.

They love him in Minnie -- he is alot faster than I thought, bruising checks and if anyone wants to fight well...

The late great Andy B in Minnie -- I traded alot of my game tapes to him from the '80s. I still have some tee shirts he sent me -- miss that guy.

Maybe he was talking about Detroit's picks. Holland has been pretty clear it is what it is in goal this season so why bother.

He is a nice addition -- hits and can fight like a bulldog. His willingness to look after his mates is huge. He really likes the ale I have heard but if he can cut back and focus he may see the NHL (not Detroit though since he is not a Swede). Good luck to the lad.
